Tina Jackson is the most talented hairstylist in Portland hands down... I am a hair stylist as well and so I'm extremely particular about who touches my hair.. I have searched far and wide for a stylist of her caliber... Tina is a true artist and has a unique vision for each individual client.. I came to her for a major color correction and was blown away by what she did... I have been with her a little over a year now, and plan to continue with Tina.... I highly recommend Tina... she will listen to exactly what you want while also keeping the integrity of your hair.... she's kind and gentle and over all just a beautiful soul... thank you for everything you do Tina your work is brilliant! Lastly Tina sets herself apart from other stylist because she's constantly taking new classes for new styles and the most up to date techniques, she's always learning and growing....

I cannot say enough good things about Tina! Her talent, work ethic, patience, and genuine personality make me look forward to every appointment. I trust her with my hair completely and have been with her for 3 years ever since I moved to the PNW. I usually ask for something relatively lower maintenance but still light enough colors and she does exactly that!!! It's clear she really understands hair, she tailors her craft for different hair type and features. She is eager to continue her learning even though she's been in the industry for a long time, which is so important in an industry that is ever-changing and competitive. Bonus: she is so easy going and genuine, we can talk non stop for hours - it makes my long appointments go by so quickly. :)

I am so grateful I met Tina! She is a goddess both inside and out. Not only did she patiently explain her process when I came in with layers of bad color and banding, but she also took the time to educate me on products, styling and care. My hair was looking like a hot dumpster fire when I came into her salon for the first time, and I'm so thankful that she didn't turn me away  I can't imagine going anywhere else.

Bonus: she gives solid, genuine life advice.

Where do I even start with Tina?

If you want someone who is serious about their job, Tina is the one to go to. She listens to you, she studies your hair, and takes great care in the process. It's obvious that Tina is passionate about her job, and you'll see that in so many ways.

I have been going to Tina for years - I think it's somewhere close to four or five. I never used to be particular about my stylist, but I never had one that really listened or took the time to consider my hair texture, shape, porosity, and overall health into consideration. Now, I will not go to anyone else. Tina takes the time to study your hair - she pays attention, no matter what type of hair you have, and will take the time to explain to you what is going to work for your hair.

I first came to Tina with straight/styled, virgin hair (I would style my hair every time I washed), and always loved her magic she worked. I trusted her knowledge. Over the past year I've decided to star the Curly Girl method and wear my natural hair and embrace the curl. It has been a heck of a process, and Tina has been there the whole time. She supports my choice for my natural hair pattern, and ENHANCES my hair so much now - with the perfect color, learning the curl patterns and making sure to get the best cut and color for my hair. I truly think she studies up on each person and their hair before they walk in!

Tina will make you feel like a ROCKSTAR every time you leave the salon. She is here to make you feel fierce, and she has never let me down. I think more than 5 of my friends now go to Tina!

I've been seeing Tina for almost two years now, and my hair has been completely transformed! Tina is truly an artist who knows how to bring every one of her client's "hair-visions" to life. The way she cuts and colors my hair is so good, I don't need to come in for color touch ups more than every 6 months. Beyond her talent, Tina is a great person and friend to talk to while sitting in the chair.  She works hard and truly loves her craft. I couldn't recommend her enough!
