Sindy's Nails in Fredericksburg, VA

I requested a basic pedicure and gel manicure, also basic. I'm not one to get manicures regularly, and this is only the 2nd time in my life I've had gel on any of my nails. The tech did not speak English and didn't give sufficient instructions for what I felt I needed during the manicure. I'm surprised that 6 days later, I peeled off all of the polish from every finger without needing any sort of product or filing. It just came off in one piece off every finger. I wear gloves when I do dishes or use water with cleaning, so this is very surprising to me. I thought gel was supposed to last a long time, which is why it costs more, but I guess I was mistaken. During the manicure I was cut and bled pretty significantly, which was noticed one of the times I pulled my hands out from under the light box. Overall, the gel polish wasn't evenly smooth nor free of debris when all was said and done. Regarding the pedicure, I usually get them somewhere else, closer to my home, and it is small and has a more relaxing atmosphere. My usual lady does a more thorough job with cuticles and filing, and just takes more care with trimming skin around the nails. I only tried Sindy's since a friend suggested that we go there together. I will not be returning, and I can't recommend it unfortunately.

Quit going . Always was chipping same day or day or two later after spending 70$ and up . And couple people that worked on me was rude and didn't care that they was burning my nails with drill because they had it up so high and that they kept hitting my skin with it !

I normally give a five star review for Sindy's Nail Salon services. My tech, Lisa, decided to give me a basic pedicure rather than the pedicure that I had requested when I made the appointment. She told me to get it next time.... My manicure looks beautiful, however, my cuticle areas are VERY sore. That has never happened prior to today. QUICK "sorrIes" do not make up for the day of pampering that I had so looked forward to.

I have been going to Lucy now for a few years, Gel Fill/ Nail Design/ Pedicure/ Waxing, and she is amazing. Trina has done my mom more than a few times, and she is great as well, my mom has always been very happy. Highly recommending this salon.

Ive never been here and I walk in and they were very, very busy. I went to the counter and asked if I could get a pedicure and was told pick a color it weeks only be a minute. After looking around, the place is dirty...but I stayed needing this pedicure, but for a party with sandals as my footwear. The pedicure stable was really dirty though but the technician was cautiously friendly enough. We talkedd about the condition of one of my nails and I was concerned about the length because it was short and he said it would be fine once he painted them and that it wouldn't look so different; however, he didn't want to trim the skin around my nail and when I asked him about it, he said all manicurists "his words" don't do that. And I said that's something that I want. And he said "well I'm not doing that" So I said im out. He was rude and didn't want to do my feet anyway because of the way he handled them. Never again because of the dirt first and the rudeness second.
