This place is closed now I think the owner is re doing the place as a TEX mex place so it is closed.

Great little place. My wife and I saw the grill while going to the bank and decided to try it for something different. Had an excellent meal with the fish and chips and chicken skewers. Both were excellent and server was very attentive. Menu had a very good variety and the prices were quite reasonable, especially the beer during happy hour. Did not try the guacamole as it would not be my first thought going to a bar and kitchen/grill. Will definitely come back.

Laid back place. Drinks were great. I had an old fashioned. love the big sugared ice cube. Great happy hour from 3:00-8:00. $2 draft beers. I've tried the sirloin and bacon mashed potatoes. Not half bad. the wings were good. Nice, big portion. Really enjoyed the grilled shrimp last time. Bar tender was attentive but not to chatty. The bar was fairly crowded, but no one sitting in the dining area. Nice to have someplace in Massaponax that's not a chain.

No, no, and no! What did you do to the guacamole? Just no! From now on I will refer to guacamole paste. My husband heard about the restaurant on the radio. He decided to surprise me in hopes that we might find a good place to eat in Fredericksburg. It was empty when we came in. We ordered the shrimp appetizer. Thought we were getting the shrimp from the website menu. Nope, fries shrimp with yum-yum sauce. Eww! Moving on we ordered the fresh guac. I got excited! Usually fresh guac means thy will take fresh ingredients and make it in front of you. Much to my surprise they brought a green paste from the back. It was smooth with no sign of a lump. Strange, but open minded. I took a bite, and it was not my favorite. I had to go in for another bite because it just tasted weird! I decided it was gross and pushed my $9.00 bowl of guac to the side for the trash. We ordered an entree of three tacos and rice. All entrees as stated in the menu come with salad. The waitress asked what our choice was. A few minutes later she came back and said we will have to charge you $3.00 for the salad. That entree doesn't come with salad (despite being clear it does). No big deal. Tacos come out and holy guacamole! That's right! That nasty paste ended up on my tacos. Not just a little like 1/2 cup per hand sized taco shell! Dude, you couldn't bite that if you wanted to!! We scrapped that paste right off. You killed my ever loving tacos! Why, just why!! The flavor of the chicken was amazing, and you buried it 10 ft under! We won't return again. You claim Latino flavor. Nope!

Decided to try a new place today. Our server was very nice and friendly. We ordered the flatbread with chorizo, which was very good. For entrees, I ordered the Mac n Cheese with steak, which was very good. We also ordered the chicken skewers, which were very tasty. Sadly, the portions of the protein (the beef and chicken respectively) in each of the dishes was very small, so we ended up wishing there was more. Now, the Pasta Primavera was inedible. It was extremely spicy, when Pasta primarera is not supposed to be spicy at all. The server was very attentive to this, and offered if we wanted something else from the menu, either to eat there or to go. We decided not to have any other plate, so she proceeded to delete the dish from the account. It's worth a 2nd visit.
