it's been a few weeks and I'm still upset over my haircut by Kathy. everything I told her I didn't want I got! I was surprised she even debated when she did the first snip and I said too short. there could have been hope at that point. that was the least of my worries by the time she finished. she does NOT know how to do a precision cut to do a classic Bobcut. My hair is uneven and choppy looking. ive had people ask what happened to my hair. I can't afford any shorter hair so I have to wait this out at least 4-6 months to get it corrected. thought I could be more patient but I hate what happened to my hair.

My rating for Shaar Hair Salon and Kathy Wolff hasn't changed since my last review, or if anything, it's gotten better. Give her an A++! She's a master colorist and my hair has never looked better. Last year I wanted a complexly new look. Kathy permed my hair into beach waves and highlighted with blond (I'm auburn haired), two things I've never done. I loved it and the perm lasted a year and my hair was not damaged in any way. Wow! She always knows how to please me and I know it's because she takes into account how my hair grows, the texture of the strands and the shape of my face. Besides, Kathy is a stimulating conversationalist with a treasure-trove of knowledge on many subjects. I look forward to my visits. If you live in Southern Sonoma County, you should give her a try.
I have had different hair stylist over the years..good & bad.. But when I have experienced someone at the top of their game i rave about them.. Joseph by far leaves everyone else in the dust!! I have started greying & his coloring is absolutely beautiful.. He calls it Natural Plus!! I have long hair & he puts three or 4 colors, high & low lights!! I get compliments All the time.. He works both in petaluma & Marin!! He even makes house calls if wanted.. U rocks Joseph!!! Thanks for making me feel like I am 20 again!!! Colleen conrad
