Salt Hair Collective in Norfolk, VA

Scheduled an appointment online with Salt Hair Collective for baby bangs/micro bangs & a stylist that was an expert in medium/short hairstyles. I was called the day of my hair (an hour before) appointment only to have been told none of the hair stylists were comfortable with styling baby bangs/micro bangs. They gave me a recommendation to a place called Jobi's but didn't know where it was or didn't give any hair stylist recommendations.

The cutest salon in all of Norfolk/VB! Gives the best boho, beachy vibes I missed so much coming from the west coast. The salon is absolutely beautiful, the girls are all so friendly and cute and the whole experience is top notch. Sarah has done my hair multiple times and always nails it! I leave feeling so beautiful- from the cut to the color to the conversation, everything about it is magical. Have recommended this salon and Sarah to all of my VA girlfriends. Truly a diamond in the rough

I would only go to a hair salon that made me feel like 5 stars and Salt Hair Collective does just that! So if you are looking for a place to take care of your hair, then this is it. My stylist is Summer and she is really wonderful. She asks what I want done at each appointment, gives her recommendation, and always takes her time. It is important to me that I feel her focus is on me while I'm in her chair and she does that. I have received hair cuts, foils, trims, blow dry, etc. I always walk out loving my hair and feeling good. The salon is clean, modern, bright and airy with a young & fresh beachy vibe. They always offer you a beverage (water, soda) when you come in which is nice. Parking is never a problem in this location.

I was new in town and I was looking for someone to do my color. I wanted to find a place in Norfolk, near Ocean View area. My concern was finding a colorist who can match my current color and whom I trust. I was driving around and I discovered Salt Hair Collective. This is my third (maybe fourth?) time at Salt Hair. I love how accommodating they are with fitting me in last minute. My stylist this time, Justine, is amazing! She listened and asked questions to help clarify exactly what I wanted. She was meticulous and you can tell she genuinely cares about her clients' satisfaction. I got a full highlight, cut, toner, and blow dry - which took a bit of time but Justine's energy was the same from the beginning to the end. The atmosphere is welcoming and fun. Such a gem in OV!
