Salon Z in Overland Park, KS

So to begin, I would love to give another stylist a chance. However the stylist, payten completely messed my hair up. I'll start by saying she was 20 minutes late to the appointment at 2pm.  I went in showing her a photo of what I wanted my hair like and was very specific as well as let her know I have a wedding on Saturday. She proceeded to fade my sides all the way to the top of my head and then cut nothing off the top. My hair is completely messed up and now I have to buzz it all in order to look somewhat presentable for this wedding. During all of this she was telling me how she missed the mens haircut section of cosmetology school. How she got this license is beyond me. Not saying don't come to this salon, but do not go to payten for any kind of mens haircut. At the end of the cut she said I will probably have to touch things up at home. What's the point of paying to go to a stylist then?

Great stylists, overall good service, salon was very clean and comfortable, CJ took good care of me and paid attention to all my wants and needs. Great staff and atmosphere.

More than satisfied!! Had my hair done by a young lady named Ellie! She did an amazing job and was so easy to talk to! Salon was clean and friendly for the most part! Ellie is definitely my new go to!

Danielle is a great stylist. She listens and yet coaches to make sure the result is what you want. The salon is relaxing, clean and has a fun vibe. Prices are reasonable. There is, however, a stylist who gossips loudly about her clients. It's awkward. I can't give five stars to the salon but Danielle is worth 10.

I have been going here for a couple of years now, and I will keep going back!  Everyone is friendly, place is clean, and it is a good location.  I am quite indecisive about haircuts, but Cassie has been great in guiding me to figure out what I want and what looks good on me.
