Salon Rise in Tacoma, WA

Aimee got me in for a root touch up . I usually go to a higher classes salon . Aimee had her @assistant do my my hair . This assistant literally didn't know what she was doing or the processing times . After I was put in the bowl to be rinsed . I got upset because she was rinsing me with ice cold water and filling my ears with water . She didn't even was my hair right . Aimee came over then knowing I was unhappy and grab me physically by the neck while I was I. The bowl and rinsed a little more . After that I was told the assistant didn't feel comfortable during my hair and Aimee said she didn't have time . She threw a wash cloth on a chair and said I could dry myself off more . She charged me 140.00 which was not what I was quoted , and her response was that she charges a higher charge . She didn't touch my hair. The beauty school failure did . I wasn't even rinsed well and my scalp was burned because of it . Marched right down to my bank so they could see and also turned her business into Washington State . Run from this crazy salon owner . The place is a hole in the wall . Go to Dolce where you get the service you pay for, and a beautiful environment compared to this small place that resembles a barber shop .

I love salon rise! I've seen Aimee for years for haircuts and balayage and I took my daughter in to see McKenna for a haircut and fun purple color in her hair. The stylists are well trained and easy to work with. You won't find a better salon in Tacoma - trust me I've tried!

Aimee and the crew at Salon Rise are always very personable & greet everyone with welcoming smiles. The salon is bright , earthy & clean with an inviting atmosphere. I love all of the products used and sold . The convenient location & parking are a bonus. Aimee is a MASTER with blondes! & has done my hair for 10 years. She does Balayage & beautiful colors for me as well as other hair treatments, but she's a pro with hand tied extensions & trends for me as a one stop shop for all of my hair touch ups in one appointment . I send all of my family to Rise . My daughter still flies in town from Cali just to get her hair done at Salon Rise ! Everyone I refer ends up a satisfied , loyal customer. Salon Rise will Go over and beyond to match your expectations .
