I have been here several times now. I absolutely LOVE being able to walk in without an appointment and get amazing service. Color, cut, style, etc. Amy is a very skilled stylist that is efficient, knowledgeable, and intuitive.

I have been coming here for years! I personally know the owner. My children have had their haircut here for years all through school and today I go in the Tacoma location. I ask for the owner by name because she only here at this location one day a week. I wanted to treat my best friend to a complete color-Haircut. RIGHT when we come through the door we could feel the weird vibe. Once we told them all we wanted because I wanted a cut-color too the lady acted out out. She was eating in the back and the receptionist didn't even have the answers to the questions we needed so, each question we asked the lady would come out of the back with food in her mouth answering our questions like she was put out and didn't want to do the job. Mind you I know the owner she doesn't except this type of behavior. I immediately told her it sounds like we are putting you out and you don't want to do this work. Maybe I should go somewhere else and I will talk to the owner when she gets back in town. The lady told me yeah I think you need to do that and she walked back in the back to go continue eating. Kind of put a dent in my day. I had planned to treat my best friend out, but no problem I'll take my business elsewhere and we did just that! NOT NICE! Tina would NOT appreciate your behavior!

My son is only 2 but already very particular about who cuts his hair. We moved from the kids barber to here since we'd been coming here for years.... Amy is literally a godsend for him! We Strayed once to a great clips and he lasted all of 5 minutes before we had to leave in the middle of the full priced haircut. Took him back to Amy a few days later to fix the awkward cut and he was super calm and cool as a cucumber and absolutely loves her. I'll never take him anywhere again!

I had a wonderful experience here at Classy Cuts in Tacoma! If you're looking for inexpensive, yet professional cuts and services, the gals here will take care of you. Inexpensive was exactly what I was looking for, as I've been renovating my home little by little and trying to watch my budget. Other salons are charging about $70+ for a haircut. That's a bit outrageous for me. I didn't want a shampoo or scalp massage. Just a cut, and that's what I received. For just a haircut for men or women, it's a walk-in service, no appointment necessary. Men's cut is $22. Women's $26. Kids under 10 is $18. It's an additional $6 if you'd like a shampoo with your hair cut. They also offer waxing, perms, permanent straightening, treatments, color and highlights, beard trims, and mini facials. I walked in and was greeted right away by one of the gals. Both were working on clients at the time. It was good to be acknowledged when walking through their doors. When I was up, I worked with Amy. I told her I wanted to keep my length but cut what was needed to make it healthy. We knocked off about 2.5 inches of hair. I left with my hair feeling and looking a lot healthier, and still long like I wanted it. Amy did a nice job and gets to know her clients whether their new like me, or regulars. Overall, a good place for an express type of cut and service for a nice decent price. Just so you know, they're located near the railroad intersection off of 72nd and E. McKinley; Across the street from Chevron and Planet Fitness. I recommend this place if you're a local and looking for a budget friendly service.

Destroyed my hair. All I asked for were highlights and to tone my bangs. I was juggled between five different customers across a three hour period. Giving haircuts while my hair was being bleached, leading to crazy damage. Do not go here if you care about your hair.
