Salon Platinum in Schererville, IN

Zero stars. I called the salon to get an appointment for the morning of my wedding and let the salon know  exactly what everyone was having done months in advance.  I got a call from the salon @4 pm hours before my rehearsal and wedding day telling me that they don't have me down for that morning. Long story short, the salon made me feel like I was at fault and rushed thru everyone's hair and makeup. My hair was falling down within an hour. I had my hair done at ANOTHER salon and the next day it looks the same as if it was just done. Thanks for doing a SHIT POOR JOB on my wedding day
I would NEVER recommend Salon Platinum to anyone, its a waste of money and they have POOR attitude's.

I went into this salon for a color correction. In describing what I wanted I told the "stylist" that I did not want brown hair.  The "stylist" did not listen to what I told her.  She did the color she wanted.  It came out so dark.  I could have been in the witness protection program.  When I told her it was too dark, she did a color correction. Isn't that a hoot, a color correction for a color correction.  The chemicals used to fix her mistake made my hair do dry and brittle and I still did not get the color I wanted.  In fact the color I got after her fix was almost the same color I originally went in with.  So, basically I paid $140 for dry shot hair.  God only knows how long it will take to grow out what she did.  Ladies save your money and heartache and go somewhere else.

So...I had never been to this salon and I should have kept it like that. I was desparate for a color and TRIM. What ended up happening was black hair with 3 chunks of blonde, one on the top/side of my head and one on each side of my ears. The girl had no experience, I was not consulted in any way, she had no clue what toner to put on my hair. It literally was the worst experience. While coloring my hair the owner was nagging at the other stylists about plastic bags and the cabinets having color on them. On top of all of  that, it cost $120. I had to go to Vanis to get it fixed. I went back on Tuesday and was treated to rude behavior by the owner. She called me volatile in front of other clients waiting - seriously! I explained to her that there was a difference between volatile and angry. In closing, I'm not quite sure Tabitha's Salon Takeover would make a difference here. Stay away from this place it's not worth the aggrivation or the cost!
