I had the privilege of getting a hair trim / cut and keratin smoothing treatment from Connie. It's easily one of the best cuts and treatments I've ever had done for my hair. Not only is a Connie an awesome stylist that takes her time with all of your styling and hair needs, she takes the time to listen and ask you what you're looking for then puts in 100% effort to make your vision for your hair a reality. I left the Salon feeling valued and confident - I'll definitely be happily going back to see Connie from now on for all of my haircuts / styling needs! I'm very happy with my results and truly grateful for having found such a wonderful salon and stylist in Connie! Connie, if you're reading this: you're the best!

This woman Connie claims to be a "one woman show who isn't required to provide policy information" and swindled my elderly mother for $250. My mother made an appointment for my sister-in-law for a Brazilian Blowout hair treatment, and at first Connie required a 50% pre-payment. None of these policies are written anywhere. When my mother told Connie it was a gift, she then convinced her to pay the complete $250 up front. Nowhere online does it state her pre-payment, cancellation, or refund policies. When my sister-in-law told us that she was no longer interested in this service, we called back within 15 minutes of the original appointment being made. Connie refused to refund any of the money, even though the cancellation was made within minutes of the original call, and was being made with TEN DAYS advance notice. I called and tried to get a straight answer from her about what her cancellation policy is and where I could find that information, and she said "I don't have that written down, and I'm not legally required to do so." She then said that "this is an expensive appointment and I have to set aside 3 hours for it." She then shamed my mother by saying "next time you make an appointment, think about the stylists time" - I understand this, but that logic makes no sense with 10 days notice. It is unthinkable that a salon would swindle an elderly lady trying to make a gift appointment for her daughter-in-law convincing her to pay 100% of the service up-front. Then, when a cancellation is made within minutes of the originally booking and with TEN DAYS notice of the appointment, refusing to refund any of the money, because of arbitrary and capricious reasons. Then to try and shame us into feeling guilty for this is despicable. Connie is a scammer, a swindler, and takes advantage of those that are easily targeted by not having ANY policies written down anywhere. She could not even tell me her cancellation policy over the phone. This business should be shut down.

My daughter wanted her hair done for the first time. I was nervous & checked out other places. A bit of a mix up in scheduling due to new service being added. She was so accommodating! Connie was not even open & had us come in & was so apologetic (this was not even her error) she preceded to highlight & cut my daughters hair, on her day off. Connie is the type of person who feels like family. A very loving, friendly human being. There are no words to describe the moment of meeting, you feel the difference. I can not wait to go back & have my hair done now. First time in 4+ years of moving to the cities that I found & actually like a stylist to see more than once! My teenager was in love with her very first highlights.

JoVu is a great salon, not only did I find a stylist in Connie, I found a dear friend. I've grown to truly trust her with my hair over the last two years I've been going to her. She does great Brazilian blowouts and color.

Awesome ! ...Have you ever looked into the mirror at your hair and said... "I wish my hair always looked like this?" .... That is what I say ever time Connie cuts my hair! I'm a professional entertainer so my appearance is very important to me, it's part of my image. Connie does an artistic job in personal styling. I will never go to anyone else.... so Connie you can never retire ;-)
