James Wilson is the greatest! He has handled my naturally curly hair through many difficult changes and it has always looked good. He does incredible color work and extensions that can't be told from the real thing. Seriously, he's an artist (and so is his partner Kent, who does amazing upholstery)! He always makes me laugh. So good to anticipate an appointment at Salon Blu!

I don't want to make this a long post so I will keep it simple. I had to schedule my gf a quick haircut, they guys at Salon Blu made it so easy and were totally accommodating to our last minute needs. Once we got there the experience was beyond excellent. James is awesome! I needed a new hairdresser after relocating from Dallas. I went there after finding his glowing reviews here on Yelp, and I was able to experience everything firsthand that people have said about him. First of all, the initial phone call setting up the appointment with his business partner gave me an idea as to how professional they are and the top notch customer service they uphold. I went there to update and change my current blonde highlights over to a dark red color for fall. I not only love the color, but I have this shine in my hair that I've never seen after getting my hair colored before. I feel like it actually took some years off of me, seeing as I'm over 40 I always welcome any help there. He also styled it out beautifully. The music he had playing while I was there was a nice touch as well, it's like he read my mind on the type of music I like. And last but not least, he's so personable it was like I was reconnecting with an old high school friend or something. I can't wait to go back for my next hair need!

Very friendly and did a great job. My boyfriend hates it when I cut my hair but this time he was raving about how good it looked. The salon was clean and comfortable, I'll definitely be going back :)

James is a professional, and a total star! It was my first visit with James, and fortunately he had the patience explaining the color that would correspond the best with my hair texture. There is a wide variety of hair colors to choose from, and not to mention all of the products utilized are high quality. I am extremely thankful for James to revive my hair in a way it hasn't been in a long time, and the best characteristic is the undivided attention I received in less than 24 hours. Ergo, I highly recommend James to anyone because he did an excellent job, and I had a delightful experience!
