I got my nails done Friday 03/29 by Kim and within the next 3 days, 3 nails would break in half without me noticing that I had broken a nail. Today Monday 04/01 I went to ask for my set to be re-done as I do not trust that the other nails will hold up whatsoever. I was told that only my 3 nails can be fixed, or they will charge me $10 to remove and charge for a full new set. I asked even if I just want them removed completely I would still get charged the $10? I was told yes... 3 days ago I paid $100 with tip and for me to be charged an ADDITIONAL $10 to remove an abysmal set of nails has me absolutely perplexed. I've been coming here for years and this is that last time I come back. It was my first time with Kim and she is absolutely unprofessional. She does not communicate what she wants you to do and instead will aggressively jerk your arm around the ENTIRE time.
I came in for a gel French manicure and a regular pedicure on Saturday evening, about an hour before close. It was fairly busy, but they sat me right away and were very friendly and professional throughout the service. Daisy and the pedicurist (I didn't catch her name) did a wonderful job! I didn't get my complimentary drink at first, but Daisy noticed, apologized, and fixed that right away. My nails look great, I was out by closing time (including dry time for my toes), and my total came out to about $100 including tip. So worth it! I will definitely be back.
Left Bank is still a great nail spa - efficient, clean, communicative. My nail tech today did a great job and really cared for my nails, unlike some nail places that focus on efficiency only. I had dip removed and did a classic manicure, and my nails look and feel very healthy. They accept walk-ins and I didn't have to wait, despite it being pretty busy. I will definitely keep coming back here.
I got dip nail and a classic gel pedicure. I paid $120 but I'm very satisfied with the quality. It was busy but I appreciate when I'm not rushed.
