Salon 8 in Bellevue, WA

I had an extremely disappointing experience. I went in for a standard haircut, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a terrible experience. The shampooing process was particularly unpleasant as I ended up getting completely soaked to the point where I had to change my clothes. The haircut itself was not up to par. What added to my disappointment was the fact that there was no offer or consideration given for the inconvenience caused by the excessive soaking.

Great experience. I always enjoy going to Salon 8, and Jozie in particular is a really good stylist. I've tried a few different hair places since moving back to the Seattle area a couple years ago. They're a lot of options, but it was only after coming here that I started regularly getting compliments on my hair. It's not cheap, but it's worth it to me. The atmosphere being in Bellevue Square is also really nice.

Popped in for some serious TLC for my mop. Jozie gave me one of the better haircuts I've had. Excellent care and attention that I typically get for a men's cut. Nice job!!!!

I scheduled a balayage service here today and they refused to do it because I had been coloring my hair at home for the overall color for a couple of years. Perhaps if they are going to refuse customers service for this reason, they should ask about home color before they schedule an appointment. I have gone to other salons who were happy to highlight my hair in the past couple of years and have been pleased. So disappointed and was not given an apology of any kind even after expressing my frustration to the front desk and the stylist.

I've been to this salon multiple times and usually get really good service. Yesterday I was I showed a stylist a picture on my phone of the cut I wanted and said I needed it to stay in place for an event later in the day. She told me that she couldn't do the first style I requested, but when I shifted to something a little simpler (big ringlet curls), it sounded like we were good to go. Howe when sh said she was finished with my hair it only had a little loose curl to it. I asked if she could do more and the stylist said I'd "look like shirley temple". The picture I'd shown for my hair was Roxy Hart, so I said that was fine. Instead she said she'd need a tool to do the look and after a few more excuses said she wasn't going to do it. If she had said that from the start, I never would've sat down and would have saved the time/money running a curling iron through my hair at home. I was pissed to spend 100$ for that kind of service. Honestly hard pressed to come back after that.
