Con artist, they post signs all over saying 9 dollar haircuts. I went in for a simple fade cut which I can have done by a neighbor for free but he is gone for the winter. just basic trimming, this lady has no listed prices anywhere in store just sits you down and starts buzzing your hair she didn't even out my neck it looks terrible. I am a construction worker so nobody cares but if you have to be seen in public don't waste your time here. now heres the great part, now that I look like a crackhead she peddles some shampoos on me with no listed price on them and just arbitrarily adds up how much they are (standard ladies salon upselling) and my 9 dollar homeless guy behind the dumpster haircut is 84 DOLLARS!!!!!!! she then had the audacity to try to sign me up for another appointment.

Went in there today and she said that she would give me the same deal as the Groupon which was 5 cuts for $45 dollars. Then she changed the price when I got there. She always has signs that says $9.99 haircuts but that doesn't apply to anyone. She also told me that she would not honor any future Groupons that I bought. Place is very dirty and looks like she never cleans the clippers. Will also always push her overpriced product on you, said my hair was dry and heard her tell people in front of me that their hair was dry as well. Even the buzz cuts that she gave me looked terrible. Only go here if you wanna be ripped off.

I rated Salon 24 2 star because the hair cut was an OK haircut inspite of the fact that is was not cut as requested. I asked for just above the ears and ended up with 2 inches above the ears. Najwa obviously does not listen and does pretty much as she wants. I think of this place as "the great hustle." Sale of product is very important, pushed heavily, and at considerable cost. False advertising is Salon 24's enticement as the shop does not face Jackson Rd. $9.95 haircuts are advertised on roadside signs. This is what caused me to stop. After the haircut, I was told that is the price for a child's haircut and charged $35.00. I refused to pay this amount and after a moment or two, the price was reduced to $25.00. I paid the $25 and left telling Najwa I would not be back. (Before telling me the price she had booked me for another cutting a month down the road.) I was tempted to drop a $10 bill on the counter and just leave. When doing business with anyone I try to follow "what my gut tells me." Upon entry of Salon 24, my gut told me to turn around and leave. This is not a business that follows professional standards. Follow your good senses and another haircare business.

Studio 24, the Hair Doctor, on Jackson does not charge 9.99 for hair cuts despite the large sign advertisements all down Jackson Rd. Those signs, fail to say that is the children's price. $28.99 plus tip & is what she actually charged for a man's haircut. She was pushy with her products and insisted that his hair needed them. Trust me when I say, we chose a $9.99 haircut because we are on a very tight budget- not the trip for expensive hair. Additionally, I found that at least 25 members of our local community had the same exact experience except they paid way more in most cases. We don't blame anyone for charging for their craft, but false advertising is pretty lame. We wont be going back. I wish her well, and hope she decides to start operating honestly; there are lots of other places to go- and now, we will find a more reputable business or just cut our own hair. Sorry Hair Doctor, you just lost 2. Boooo.
