This is really a Great place to come to, when they're open. No one ever answers the phone. If you're closed post it please. I've been a regular customer for years.
Just got in here and I already have an issue. My little guy has curly, virgin hair so I only use certain products on it so I brought them with me. The stylist informed me that you can't use your personal products because they can't guarantee the style will last. He's only getting corn rows soooo I don't see how my personal products wouldn't ensure longevity. Also he has skin allergies so I only use natural, sulfate free products and I informed her of that yet she still insisted that's the policy BUT I can use my own styling products . After I explained that to her again, she asked the stylist to get some "natural" shampoo they had and charged me an extra $10 for them to use it. Now I realize this is an a la cart salon but really $10 to use their other types of shampoo...ridiculous. My problem isn't the stylist who was friendly and accommodating but with her boss and their policies.
I had a great experience at Salon 10. Everyone was professional and very efficient. The shop was clean and the prices are very affordable. I highly recommend this place.
This is a great salon! Women of color, your hair will be well taken care of! They style all types of hair, from relaxed to locs. I have natural hair and they take great care of it. Try it out! It is first come first serve basis, no appointments.
