This poor salon deserve 0 stars! The customer service is beyond horrible. They will set your appointment, allow you to drive an hour to their salon & not be available. They are fraudulent, inexperienced braiders!!! They only care about taking your money! They don't care if you are satisfied with their work! They will cut your natural hair, when shaving your braids! While getting my hair done I experienced the lady stop to assist other people, eat, converse on the phone, kill roaches, and change the channel every 30 min & gossip about the other African salons in the nearby area. She took well over 8 breaks! They don't care about you or your time. This place of business also doesn't have working heat!!!! So be prepared to freeze. (Unless they fixed it) Your braids will not look the same from start to bottom. They are far from professional! They will YouTube a video of the hair style that you want & then practice on you for 200 bucks!!! Believe the reviews & save yourself time & money & go where you are appreciated

I believe those women do a great job braiding hair when they are in the mood. I found this place to be totally 100% unprofessional. Two braiders were working on my hair and it still took six hours. Primarily because they were both taking and sending personal calls and texts. In my paying opinion unless it is an emergency BRAID my HAIR and leave the calls for when you finish. Like I said, my braids are good and I can compare them to the NYC braiders are far as quality goes. However the question remains will I return? NO!!! NO!!!! NO!!!! Not even if it were free. To spend six hours in a chair while the braiders talk on the phone is just not worth it when I can go somewhere else and have my hair done in less time without the annoying unprofessionalism. Well let me qualify that statement. If this were the only hair braider in town I would probably have to swallow my mad and go again, But thank our lucky stars that they are several dozen to choose from. If you are smart and you are reading this review go somewhere else.

I scheduled my appointment for 10am on a weekday, no one arrived until 1030am and when i called they said, "yeah, no one there yet" ummm..get her ass here, I'mscheduledfor 10am. I was told my hair would be one price over the phone. When I got there it was another almost $40 because, "your hair natural and long", TF?!? So after I stated that's not what I was told and stood firm in what I was told, they then stated, ok, $250". THEN she said to me, "we need to charge extra because we have hard time doing you hair". Because I'm tall and they can't sit on their ass like they want to. A little girl came in for one layer feed in braids, they said $130...umm what?!? This place is a total rip off, loud on the phone screaming in your ear standing over you all while spitting as they talk, just gross. Never again!

If I could give this place less than one star, I would. I made an appointment for 10 am on a weekend day. The time was actually requested by whoever it was that answered the phone (I didn't get a name). I show up EARLY. The open sign was on, but the inside was pitch black and the doors were locked. I stayed an additional 30 minutes, because I understand that things happen. No one arrived. No one answered the phone. No one returned my voicemail. This was place was recommended by a few coworkers of mine and I was highly disappointed by this situation. Terrible customer service. Do not recommend. *update* The owner (her name was Emmy) called 8 hours later to say that her phone was on silent. Further proving my point. DO NOT COME HERE. BYE FELICIA!
