I go to Flirt on a regular basis. I get great service. All the women there are very warm and inviting. I love how I look when I leave and would refer others there. Naz and Sana and Hannah are great!!

I loved my hair cut but very confused on pricing. I just got a basic haircut, and was charged $75. When you look online it says $60. Why was a I charged extra? With my tip I payed $90. I loved my service but that is ridiculous for just a haircut. The price is ridiculously high and why are the prices different online.

It's great talent when they actually run on time. I scheduledmy day around a cut and highlight. I arrived right on time and was asked if I could come back next week (my appointment was a Friday). It was my second time with them being majorly late, but the 1st time I had time to wait to get squeezed in. Unprofessional.

I really don't love writing poor reviews for small businesses, especially after having left a glowing review five years ago. However, the good times stopped rolling with this salon. After the pandemic hit, I stopped seeing my stylist Jessie, who I loved, in favor of growing out my hair for several months in the height of the pandemic times and later going to a salon outside my window. I've tried a few stylists at the salon near me, and I haven't really adored any of my experiences. I kept going out of convenience until I needed an appointment for a bang fix/haircut in August, and they were booking a month out. I happened to check Flirt's availability, and the online booking system said they had availability that Wednesday night at 7 pm. From past experience, I knew to not always trust their booking system, so I called right away and Veda said she was about to call me but I beat her to it. They did not actually have that time available, but she booked me with her for the next night. I then researched her reviews and was pretty excited to be booked with her. I then got another call from her that I previously had seen Jess and therefore she was moving me to her. Okay, sure, I liked Jessie. When I arrived for my appointment, it was not the same person, as Jessie had left the salon over a year prior. Jess S. ended up being really great though. She convinced me to cut layers into my long hair while maintaining the length, so I was pleased with the result. She also asked how I felt about my color, and admittedly I didn't love it, so I booked an appointment with her for that next weekend for highlights. To say that the appointment was annoying is an understatement. Not because of her, but because of the pure lack of organization and accountability of the booking system. The owner left the salon after finishing up one lady's hair shortly after my noon arrival. That left Jess alone in the salon. Not even a receptionist. Just her. She was supposed to have me blocked off with no interruptions until she was doing wedding hair a couple of hours later. Instead, a man walked in, said he had an appointment scheduled online, and insisted on getting his hair done. That delayed me, and the bleach that was already on my hair stayed on for much longer than it needed to be. My hair does not feel the same anymore. The phone also rang a million times, all of which she had to pick up. My dye stayed on past the wedding hair too. And then my toner was left on for 45 minutes, which was way too long. Another girl came in upset because she thought she had an appointment with the owner so she had coconut oil in her hair. That also delayed me as Jess rightfully tended to her. Even as I was getting rinsed, I was quite literally holding their phone and being told to press the mute button. It was ridiculous and not exactly relaxing. All told, I was there for FIVE HOURS. FIVE! HOURS! That is unacceptable. I booked my next color appointment for September 23, but I later learned I needed to reschedule it due to a personal conflict. I called on 8/31 and spoke to the owner, who was supremely confused by me asking to be moved to September 30. Eventually, she said she updated the appointment. On September 22, I received a text reminding me of my appointment the next day. I immediately called, and the owner said that Veda must have messed it up. What?? I had spoken to HER, not Veda. The immediate blame on someone else was just mindblowing. She then told me she updated it to September 30. I did not get a reminder on September 29, but I had already reached out to Jess directly by that point, so I knew she had left the salon. I never heard from the salon on the 30th, but fortunately, I was able to connect with an amazing stylist elsewhere. I won't be returning to Flirt, but I do hope they try to sort their appointment booking system and properly staff the salon so other folks don't end up with coarse hair from overbleaching and five-hour-long appointments.
