I was able to get an appointment quickly and easily with Maddie who majorly helped me out with a highlight refresh before being a bridesmaid in an upcoming wedding. I was checked in as soon as I arrived. I had hot coffee with foam in a cute mug while I got my hair done Maggie was easy to talk to and did a beautiful job on my hair. The salon is spacious, open, and clean. Excellent experience!
I love S Salon!!! Riley is the best hairstylist and always knows what I want! She's so sweet and professional. Highly highly recommend. Maggie is a wonderful stylist as well.

I really had high hopes for this salon as I was referred here by a few people. After looking at Instagram pictures of their work I decided to give the salon a try. The staff was all so kind and courteous. The salon was beautiful inside. BUT To say I'm disappointed with my hair is an understatement. I asked for honey blonde highlights. After spending 5 hours and 300 dollars, left the salon with red/orange hair. I'm so upset and embarrassed about how my hair looks now. I didn't think it was possible to look worse then it did when I went in. The stylist was receptive about rescheduling me to fix it but after some thought I just decided I'd rather go to someone else.
Definitely a great salon. Some would say its pricey, but you get what you pay for when it comes to hair. They wash, cut, color, and style your hair completely to your liking. They are skillful and welcoming. I always leave satisfied and looking forward to the next time I get my hair done.
I had a good experience with Skyler at S Salon. She was very friendly and chatty and I had a really good couple hours with her!!
The prices are pretty normal for Fairbanks, so they aren't much less $$ than a dye from Elements or something. However I do prefer S Salon! She did a great job on my hair and gave me good recommendations for a hair mask and shampoo to keep it from going brassy.
