Do not go to this place to get any sort of balayage or highlights in your hair. I made an appointment a week in advance for a balayage, this being my very first time in a hair salon to dye hair. I always used box dye but I decided to do something different. I went searching on Google to find a style I really liked. I found a couple of pictures and I even found one that I was more excited about than the others. I still saved the rest of them, as they were all similar. Fast forward to the day of the appointment: it's 10 am and I'm there like 5 minutes early because I never like to be late to things. I wait for a couple of minutes and then she sits me down in her chair and asks me what I want. So I explain to her that I haven't died my hair in 5 years, and when I did it was box dye. I told her that I wanted like a caramel balayage and I even showed her all of the pictures that I had saved on my phone. She said okay, and that she can do that, but it was going to cost me $220. Okay. We tint my hair because the pictures I showed her had a darker base. Then she washes me and dries me, and puts the highlights in. She originally told me that it was going to have to be done in separate sessions (tint, wash, dry, repeat with highlights instead of tint) and I was like okay, I have all day since it's my day off. She does one round of highlights washes me and puts me back in her chair. She blow-dried it (she did this when she tinted my hair and I made comments about it looking cute then as well) and I commented that it was so pretty. She then said we wouldn't need to do the copper highlights because I already had copper in my hair. She asked me if it looked okay and I was like yea, and then I asked if we were going to do the other colors and she said no because my hair didn't need it. And shame on me because I didn't speak up, but I hated it. It looks nothing like the picture, and I'm convinced she just focused on my roots and did what she did to my roots for my entire head of hair. I should have listened to the reviews about this place. Amy should not be doing balayage if she can't make people's hair look close to a reference photo. Not only that, she was really rough with my hair, and when we were in the wash bucket, she wouldn't tell me to lift my head, she would just pull on my hair. And if I kept my head down as she told me to, she would tell me in a really passive-aggressive voice to lift my head. She styled it before I could say anything and went to the counter to get me rung up. She said I owed $320!! I asked her why $100 more and she said that it was because of the balayage. But there was no balayage done. It looked nothing like my hair. I can't even look in the mirror at myself because it looks so ugly. I was afraid to say something and cause a scene(that's my fault I'm aware) She is extremely rude and I do not ever recommend her for your hair.

Made an appointment for 1:30. Waited 30 minutes then left after being told online and call in appointments were overlapping and they MIGHT be able to get to us. The younger girl was rude about it.

I will never go here again. I came in on my birthday after my regular place was booked up. My husband wanted me to have my hair styled for my dinner that night. I asked if I could come in at 5 and the lady confidently told me to come in at 4:45. I came in at that time and showed the lady that I just wanted "vintage curls". When she didn't put a cape on my I should have questioned her then. She first tried to curl one side with a curling iron and started chatting me up. But I started having a pit in my stomach. She was making me nervous. Then she got a handful of gel and slapped it on my head. Doing finger waves, or trying to. This was NOT what I asked for. She did the front two sections, then sprayed the back hardcore and then try's to tease it! I could hear my hair breaking. It was a nightmare. Less than 10 minutes she walks me up to the front and charges me $10. I was nearly in tears. My husband drives me over to the Regis salon and THANK GOD the angel behind the counter made time to give me exactly what I initially asked for. And turns out they're sister salons with smart style so she was able to pull the payment from them and I didn't have to pay twice. Anyway, don't bother with them. I never will again. I thought they could handle curling my hair but apparently not. If you can't do something, say so! And don't do whatever that was you did to me to someone else.

If you want to feel like just a number, and feel like you're doing someone a favor by giving them your money and business then go here. You can get a decent haircut if you get something simple, but don't think you will get ANY customer service because you won't. They are in Walmart and they think they are on rodeo drive. Walmart is meant for convenience ALL other hair salon places in walmarts all over the country are open for the customer's convenience and this place doesn't care about customers at all.
