Rain Salon in Ashburn, VA

I have been going there for about less than a year. The staff is wonderful. Courtney has been coloring and cutting my hair. She is a very self-confident and is knowledgeable about coloring and cutting hair. I trust her professional opinion completely and that is a rare quantity!!! She is very energetic and has a wonderful attitude. I would totally recommend her to anyone who is looking for a wonderful stylist!!!

Just had a hair cut. The same is not bad and its aceptable. Does it look like the hair cut, I wanted and that I showed the stylist? No! Did she even make questions/suggestions to the client? No. she went straight to cut it. Made a comment about the layers and did her thing. At the moment of blow drying the hair she asked me if I wanted curl or just regular blow dry? Well the style has a wavy look. To me this is being careless about the look the client wants. So, I said curl so she said is extra cost which, I accepted. She took 5 minutes styling my hair. I knew from the moment she started that either she didn't want to do it or has cero intention to achieve the look. So, surprise! The curling iron was broken so she used the flat iron that later she mentioned it's not the ideal one for the look. Well final product whatever and not caring what the client wants. Comments! She said Next day will look better, well curls were gone 2 hours after. Here is my take. You are working as a stylist, do your best to be the best. Make sure your tools work, ask questions to the client. Make suggestions accordingly, tell the client if you can achieve the look or not, lets be honest, lets provide a good service, not mediocre one. Well, I won't be coming back, this is for sure. Neither my husband who has already stop going.

Rain Salon feels like spending time with a group of great friends who all want me to look and feel like my best self - strong, confident, and beautiful. I often book appointment times for after work, and it makes my week looking forward to my Rain Salon experience. Everyone is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Lori has changed my relationship with my thick, wavy, coarse hair - I used to fight it! With her amazingly talented cut and color, every day is a good hair day

So I couldn't be more excited to write a good review for Rain Salon. I was super unhappy with my hair that I impulsively wanted to chop it off and change it, and me, being impatient, needed to do it today. Luckily Rain Salon was able to take me in. I mean, the place is super aesthetic and their natural products made me feel like a new woman. I had an amazing stylist who captured what I wanted and was super patient with me. Thank you Alba for transforming my unhealthy hair to something fresh and new.
