This review is for Yong in studio 15. I've gone to Yong for both balayage and long haircuts/styling for the past few years and she is phenomenal. She really listens to what you want but also uses her expert judgement to make sure your haircut is the most flattering on you. She really takes her time, plus she gives the best head massages when she washes your hair-so relaxing! I highly recommend her.
Yong is amazing!!! I have been going to her for over 15 years. She just moved here and she is in Suite 15. Customer service is her strength. She listens to you and wants you to be happy. You won't be disappointed.
Do not go here for a balayage or babylight if you have dark hair. This is the second appointment I had with Sam. After giving her the benefit of the doubt following a mediocre first session, I left again even more disappointed, not just by the results but her customer service. My hair is streaky, brassy, and damaged. When I tried to come to a resolution with she, instead of being understanding and professional, she was degrading. In business in general, people are supposed to get used to having uncomfortable conversations with their clients sometimes. How people react to these kinds of conversations speak volumes about how they run their business. Instead of trying to speak to me professionally, she was immediately defensive and used an ad hominem approach in response to me. She refused to take ownership of her mistake and blamed my hair, when in reality it was because of her poor time management skills and her lack of knowledge working with dark hair. Because she had a client booked right after me and was running out of time, she washed the bleach out of my hair before it was ready, and at one point there were two different people working on my hair (which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I felt like it was because the process was being rushed and because she couldn't work on my hair herself).
A wonderful salon with skilled stylists. Shaina is so knowledgeable and a natural artist. She makes me look beautiful every time. I've been a client for several years. Experiences with color and cuts.
