A high-end hair salon with skilled and unpretentious stylists who quickly won over this old school barbershop type of guy...who now enjoys the pre-cut hair wash/temple massage! Highly recommend Missy (female) for women AND men or Kelly. Both extremely friendly and know what they're doing. (FYI - the woman who recommended Missy to me has been colored and styled by her for years, and spoke highly of her.) Don't go without an appointment!

First time coming to the salon and Kelly made my time there AMAZING! I have never felt so comfortable and relaxed, all the staff interaction was fabulous and welcoming! Kelly listened to what I wanted, heard my concerns with everything from hair care to past salon experiences, and he delivered a beautiful textured and layered cut that matched my every dream! MY HAIR HAS LIFE AFTER COVID! I'm excited to come back tomorrow for a cute lavender money piece, and every single future cut & color! :) I'm so happy with my hair!!!

I got a single process done on my hair in hopes of covering up my balyage that had grown out after my pregnancy . All I really wanted to do was boost up my self esteem a little after 9 months of a rough pregnancy . I asked the hairstylist multiple times if the process would result in me having a head of just one color and two hair stylist assured me that it would make my full head one color and fade or grow out after a couple of months. I was fine with that since I was planning on following up in a couple months anyway. That same day I went home and saw that my previous highlights were still visible . The problem is that it was visible only on my half my head. I looked terrible . I called spoke to the manager who said it's NORMAL to get a full single process and your head not be one full color. She was not very nice or empathetic. She told me sometimes people do a single process color and need to cover up again with another process the same day. I can't seem to understand that. Regardless she told me to come in to take a look but very rudely. I would have to find a babysitter just to go back and see if she would consider fixing my hair again. I decided it's not worth spending money for a babysitter again & risking the job not getting rectified. Why would anyone pay for a single process color if you leave the salon with two different colored hair? Makes no sense and I def didn't get the look I wanted . Also my hair is so dry rough and thick. It seems damaged. Will go elsewhere where I know they will fix it! There's way too many options around

With so much swirling around these days we all just want the comfort of tried and true- home. Well let me just tell you - go no further than Kelly at public image. He is truly a creative hair engineer. I travel across 4 states from Mass to NJ so Kelly can cut my hair on the curl. When I walk into Public Image I feel the comfort of coming home.

It was my first time at the salon and Maryanne and Kara were an awesome duo. I love the results!!
