Princeton Salon and Spa in Duluth, GA

I was so disappointed with my visit at Princeton. I had been there several times before my last appointment and called to make an appointment for a hair cut and color. When I arrived a little early, my stylist had me immediately get to her chair (Yay! or so I thought). I have shaved sides and the top if my head is curly and maybe 2" long and I was only interested in coloring the stop. I was told immediately that was not an option as my stylist did not have that much time. (Although that was clearly why I was there.). Then she proceeded with my hair cut and checking her watch every time she stood in front of me. I went to a Aveda Salon hoping to get pampered as I was out for the first time after December hip replacement surgery. Then my stylist asked if I would like my hair washed and I thought, well, at least a good head massage. Her wash and conditioner took no time at all, no massage. She then towel dried my head and wanted to know if I wanted to schedule the color. I will not schedule any more appointments there. I could have saved myself $40 and gone to the generic salon in the Kroger strip mall near my house. I just expected so much more than I experienced.

Gabe was the best! He helped me pick a color that better suited my fair skin, and didn't let me go too dark. 10/10

Worst haircut of my life. Seriously- stay away! I've been to this location a couple times and have usually gotten the more junior stylists to do my hair. The last time I went, the stylist cut it all the same length (when I asked for layers), and the cut ended up really boxy. I figured that's what I get for going with the most junior stylist they have, so for my last appointment I asked who was the best and ended up going with a "master" stylist. I'm really not over exaggerating when I say it was the worst haircut of my life. I showed her a picture of the cut I wanted with multiple angles and my hair is not even close. It's at least two inches shorter than the picture (and what we talked about), and when you hair is shorter than your shoulders- 2 inches is a lot. STAY AWAY!!!!

I only went there (johns Creek location) for roots retouch and hair cut. The staff is friendly and the salon is very nice but the stylist was a disaster. She suggested some highlights and that ended up being a nightmare. I had to go the next day to fix the orange color she left on me. After 3.5hours my beautiful beliage highlights disappeared and put so much color again that my roots are now almost black and no visible highlights, on top of that she made a mess with the product and poured it onto my Kate Spade bag. I would never come back to that place! The manager came to check once I arrived to make a plan on how to fix it but didn't come back to see if the results were right! The stylist's name is Tamra, she seems like a nice person but has no clue of what she is doing.
