One of the my friends strongly recommended to try the beautician Hyun here at NVague hair salon. So I came to this place trim my hair. Unfortunately, that was best mistake I ever made (like Ariana grande) and if I can give them "0" star I definitely would like to do. I showed him the picture that I want to be get hair cut, and the result is totally different from the picture. (I don't even not sure he looked the picture at all) the front side bang was cut in really short, which was pretty shock to me. The length of right side bang and left side bang are different. he took 1 min to cut my hair and I was immediately sent to shampoo place. I was wondering he would take more time to handle my hair after I get the shampoo done but he didn't. Total 3 minutes of hair cutting, they charge me $35 for the service. Please don't wasting your money right here. Add: I complained him about the front side bang length. He argued me back that the hair is just same as like the picture.
After all the wonderful reviews we decided to try this place and owner recommended the digital setting perm. We were pleased with the service but I have to give it ONE star rating. The digital setting perm cost $320!! We carefully followed care instructions for after treatment but after the first wash, the perm was gone. The hair went back to pre-perm state. We consulted with NVAGUE and we're told that hand/finger curling or rollers will required to keep the perm curls. For $320 paid, we feel very disappointed and do not recommend this place for hair treatment. Overrated and Overpriced.
My husband and I just had haircut over there today. Hyun did my hair and the other girl did for my husband. They both are very professional at haircut and price is reasonable. Hyun is very kind and patient, understands what I need and gives me very good suggestions. Considering their skills, price, attitude and other things, I will rate NVague much higher than Scissorhands, Pika Pika and Park Jun. Hope NVague will maintain its quality and service, and we'll definitely come back more.
I have trust issues when it comes to making drastic changes to my hair and going to Korean stylists BUT my friend recommended this wondrous place. I got my hair cut by the owner and he is MARVELOUS! I went in without knowing what I wanted, just that I wanted to cut off all my damaged hair. I got a medium/short length and he made it look so good. It fit my face shape perfectly and he made me look so effortless, crying of happiness.
