Poza Salon in Charlotte, NC

I just had my first haircut and color at POZA. I needed to get in as quickly as possible so they arranged a split appointment for me - haircut one day with Pooran and color a different day with Jennifer. I absolutely could not be happier. My haircut makes me look years younger and it's so easy to take care of. I will be going back forever.

Have only been in Charlotte for about a year, but have absolutely loved Poza Salon during my time here. Cassi has cut my hair twice for some big chops and new styles I wanted to try and have absolutely loved it every time. I'm not one to typically know what to do with my hair so I just kinda tell her what I want it to function as (ie I need it to be long but need to get rid of volume/weight) and she just goes right to work! Someone else gave me a complimentary bang trim in between appointments and that was awesome too! A lil too self conscious to post photos of myself but absolutely loved all the reception I've received from Poza - they text me appt reminders as well as respond to texts when I have last minute questions about things. They also have a dedicated parking lot in the back which is very convenient considering it's closer to the city. (And complimentary drinks as needed which is always a plus). Online appt scheduling makes it easy as well to get things sorted without having to call over the phone.

Their salon is clean, looks chic, the staff looks out for each other (helping each other clean up hair etc), the atmosphere is nice and I'm sad to leave it behind when I move cities in a month. The one star reviews that I've scrolled through don't make sense from my experiences - lots of people making drama unnecessarily. Give Poza a shot if you're looking for something new in the Queen City! If you have more textured hair, or are just lookin for a party of a time, I recommend Cassi! She's done wonders helping me bring back my natural waves :)

After moving to Charlotte, I found it hard to find a place with really competent stylists that can cut my hair the way I like it and do an excellent job with color. This is THE place to go for both!  Jennifer is my stylist, and from what I see when I'm there, the other stylists are awesome as well.

Very impressed with the COVID protocol followed when I got a hair cut today. Temperature was taken as I came in and I was asked to use sanitizer. Everyone in the salon was wearing a mask. After I had my hair washed, that station was sanitized. I was happy with my hair cut and will return in the future.

Everyone who works at Poza is wonderful! From their front desk support to their stylists, they always give a 5 star experience. I've gone to Zahava, Pooran, and Alex for years now and you can't go wrong with any of them for your hair needs. Pooran also does the best job at threading brows, which is hard to find locally. The products they use are unmatched to any other salon in Charlotte. 10/10 always!
