Versa Salon in Charlotte, NC

I went in for a perm/ texture wave. The woman that did it for me, she did what she was supposed to, but the manager there, really bad customer service. You barely can see the waves on a dry hair, she tried to say it's supposed to look wavy on a wet hair. Totally dissatisfied, I paid $300+ for this service and my hair looks like a old brush.

I decided to try something totally different and so glad that I did! You're in good have with Versa! They're professional, courteous, skilled, and FAST! Love this salon! They NEVER disappoint. I don't  trust anyone else with my hair! All of the stylists are excellent! Love my new look! 'Til next time...

LIES! I did not make an appointment for a "silky press cut." I made a 2nd appointment for a $45 Hair Cut since your stylist did not cut my hair as requested during my 1st appointment. I do not know what a "silky press cut" is so I definitely did not make an appointment for this service nor did I request it during my 2nd appointment.  I did not receive a $77.50 REFUND as you stated in your reply. I still (at the time of this post) have not received the $17.50 DEPOSIT REFUND for a future appointment I cancelled as a result of my 2nd BAD EXPERIENCE AT VERSA SALON. THE TRUTH IS: At this time I have NOT RECEIVED A REFUND FROM VERSA SALON.  You and your staff LIE and HAVE QUESTIONABLE PRICING PRACTICES.

I give this salon 5 stars!! It is a very clean, classy with a fresh environment. I scheduled an appointment with Brandy and as always she NEVER lets me down!! Brandys skills are so versatile. She does my hair when its natural leaving it curly and hydrated as well as when I request flat iron and curl, I leave with flowing straight hair and I love it!! She puts so much care into your hair and listens very well when you request a specific cut or style. Shes very down to earth with great conversation which helps bc the time flies by. I would definitely recommend this salon and definitely this stylist!!

If you have a short, relaxed hair style, this salon isn't for you.  I'm not sure what it is but the Aveda products always leave my hair with a nasty texture -- relaxed and natural.  

Now let's get to the stylist - I requested an experienced stylist and she shared with me that she'd been doing hair for the last 10 years so I trusted her.  I showed her a picture for inspiration and she assured me she could do it.   I WISH I TOOK A PIC OF THE FINAL RESULT....SMH.  I loved our convo but for $165.00 (plus tip because i tip everyone) could have don't without the conversation and wish she focused 100 percent on my hairstyle.  When she proceeded to mold my hair down, there were red flags bc my hair wasn't even flat on the sides.  She also cut my sideburns off even after I told her I wanted to keep them.  Again, I shouldn't have been so conversational bc she obviously didn't hear what I was saying or paying me much mind. My hair was dry and crunchy and I legit put the hat I came in with back on when I left the salon.  I could have saved that money and just took at stab at styling my own hair --thats what I'm going to have to do anyways, right???  

She knew the hairstyle wasn't up to par, and as a stylist I believe you're supposed to be upfront when you discuss expectations.  She let me down.

I will not be coming back.
