Polished Nail Salon, Inc. in Thornton, CO

me, my sister, my best friend and her sister all went in to get our nails done. we had 3 full sets and 1 gel manicure. 2 of the full sets were okay.. i could've probably done them but they looked fine (not worth $65). my sister got cut 2 times in the process of them filing her nails and their solution to her bleeding was using NAIL GLUE to bandage the cuts. the attitude from the nail techs in general was ridiculous. they made it seem like it was a burden to do our nails as if they don't work at a nail salon. my biggest issue with the whole thing was my best friends nails. she asked for an almond french tip and got the most god awful version. the polish is uneven and so is the acrylic. keep in mind we had asked the lady multiple times to fix the polish and to be honest she made it worse. it had seemed like it was her first time ever doing a french tip which seems absurd considering she is a nail tech. i'll insert photos below of what she asked for and what she got but even looking at them makes me so upset. it was $65 for a half assed job and attitude in return. i would literally recommend any other salon. contempo on 144th will literally be your best bet in Thornton at this point. super annoying.

I have been coming to Polished for about 6 years. My regular tech is Nina and she does an amazing job. She takes her time and my nails rarely, if ever chip. My daughter comes to her too and loves her. Nina is the only tech I trust and she's become like a friend asking about family and life events. She does a great job. The salon itself has changed ownership several times and I can see the quality has changed since the beginning, but I will keep coming as long as she's here.

terrible experience. I set appt on fb, no luck. Called and set another appt. Once we got there no one helped. Mani, pedi. At that point I should have left. I asked on behalf of the 10yr old with me that she wants a darker polish. The woman argued and toss the polish down it got all over her arm. I ask another woman to clean it because the woman helping us was no longer talking to us. After polish was put on she had the child hold the water for manicure and tools and filing on the child's clothes. I said please use a table. I don't want file dust on her clothes and she is going to drop the water. Why is she hold it on her lap? The woman got extremely angry. I was done. I didn't even want to pay. It was ridiculous. Sadly ruining a person's first experience.

It's really sad to be excited to a new salon and for them to have such an ugly attitude !! I went in for a pedicure and also acrylic on my toes, they said they were able to. I went back and got into a chair and everything and this woman who was doing my nails already seen agitated at the fact that I wanted acrylic. I asked if she was able to do acrylic toes without no tips sense I've Bad experience with them, she looked at me rudely and said no. I told her response that I knew it was possible since I've been to nail school, right after I said that she said something under her breast clearly say something to me ! For the rest of the time as she was laying my acrylic she was in a bad mood and once I asked if she could use a new file since the file she had was dirty she automatically got more mad! The whole experience was bad and my nails didn't even come out like I wanted!! I truly DONT RECOMMED  this place unless you wanted to get treated poorly!

Polished used to be amazing, but has gone downhill. I got a standard pedicure today and they did it in 15 minutes. The manicurist was rude and cut a cuticle and made it bleed bad. The floors are also very slippery. I will not be back!
