Just the mere mention of Lice makes people itch their heads. I had never experienced lice and I was 90% sure, after reading online and listening to mom-advice via YouTube, my daughter had nits in her hair. And if she had lice then it seemed inevitable both my 2nd daughter and I had them too. I was in such a panic on arriving at Picky Picky I could barely hear what the owner Wendee was saying to me. All three of us girls in the house did indeed have lice. I'm not gonna lie, it felt like total shame and judgment to be told your family has lice. Yes...I've since learned it's not the end of the world and many many elementary schools experience the joys of these bugs. Ugh. No one who has lice will tell you about it, but once I started warning my kids teachers and neighbors to be on the watch for it, I had many friends tell me they've experienced it too. I didn't know what the odds were on how effective Picky Picky was at removing the lice. I simply went based on the recommendation of one friend. And since our conversations with neighbors through school, many others have gone to Picky Picky and been successfully treated. My experience with Wendee of Picky Picky was wonderful and a huge relief! I love that she uses yummy smelling, natural products to remove the bugs. And I bought the spray to help ward them away in the future. It felt so good to go back a week later to be told we're lice-free!

My daughter's school sent home a notice that lice had been found on her classmates. I called Picky picky and made an appointment to have my daughter's head checked, and i got mine checked too. I checked initially, but i wasn't confident that i knew what to identify. She gave me the piece of mind i needed and thankfull, i didn't have it. She also treated my daughter and killed anything that may have been live, and systematically removed all dead eggs and louse. All the while giving me advice on on-going prevention , and actions to take at home. It was a little costly, but she was worth it. If you listen and learn, she gives you all the info to help yourself in the future. But on your first time, it is definately worth it to see the professional. I would go back to her again. Efficient, and professional.

Let's be honest, The last thing I want to do is broadcast to the world that we had a lice problem. But the reality is that my daughter was dealing with lice issue, they would not go away. I tried over the counter home remedies twice and the problem still wouldn't go away. I found picky picky and Wendy does an amazing job at clearing out the little pests.
