The pedicure I got here in December was so well done it didn't chip for almost 6 weeks. The one I got after it somewhere else was the worst ever. I will return. Well worth the price.
I had a terrible experience at this salon. The salon was virtually empty, myself and two other clients. 3 different people did my $45.00 gel manicure! The first women was more concerned with what was happening on the video monitor than with my nails. After 5 mins of soaking my hands in cold water and doing a little filing she said, "I have to leave," The second women stepped in to finish. She did the gels, rubbed an exfoliating cream on my arms, dipped my hands in wax, wrapped my arms in smelly towels. Then she put on her coat and left the building. At this point I was getting a little nervous as the only other person in the spa was a guy who had been in and out of the building. He wiped his nose on his sleeve, took off his coat. He sat down, removed the smelly towels from my arms and then removed most of the wax from my hands. He then walked off and left me sitting at the table. I wiped the exfoliating cream off my arms myself, and removed the wax he missed. This business is sickening. I'm sorry they are in my neighborhood. A complete waste of $45.00! One star is one too many!
I'm not horribly pleased with the way my gel manicure lasted...or didn't. The service is absolutely amazing in this spot, that's not debatable. They are kind and take their time with each customer and don't make you feel super rushed like a lot of nail salons can do. My gel manicure lasted 2 days before I had to return for a repair, was walking in the door to my house from the salon and broke 2 more nails. 5 days later, my nails started to peel. I used gloves when mowing the lawn, I used gloves when doing the dishes and used gloves when doing any sort of manual labor, so it was not that I wasn't taking care of them. A week after I went in for the repair, every one of my nails had popped off cleanly. It's too expensive of a service to only last 2 days.
