Get salon! Clean and hospitable. They're not mask freaks in there either, so if you have an exemption to wearing one they won't be jerks.

Alona!!!!! I stalked her from NYC! I go btwn there and Charlotte, I'm so thankful for her patience and skill! She is my go to for faciaLs and waxing. Her facials are thorough! All while being relaxing. I would wax my brows with her but now I hardly have any but I'm so glad she now does microblading, lashes ( lifting & tinting) Seriously changedd my life! I haven't done the extensions yet but I know I will end up doing it by her! Thanks so much Alona you're so awesome and my skin has never loOked better but I've beeN with  Alona for atleast 10 years now. Welcome to NC!!

I wanted to find a place for my 8-year old daughter that not only cut hair well, but charged reasonable prices. The salon we went to before increased their price from $25 to $41 for kids cuts, which is a no for me. I came across Noma based on local Facebook recommendations and luckily, I was able to get an appointment that same day.  Let me say that the rating is for the cut and not necessarily for the overall experience which I would give 3 stars. The location is perfect; only about 3 miles from my home. I walked in and was disappointed because no one greeted me. There's a front desk but it wasn't staffed. I did understand that the three stylists working were with clients, but I got nothing. Not even a "hello" or "be with you in a minute" even with eye contact by some when we entered. We sat in the middle waiting area of the salon for a few minutes until finally, I went to the front area and spoke with one of the stylists (her name was Cinnamon), letting her know that no one greeted or acknowledged me. She helped me and saw that I had an appointment with Holly. Once my daughter sat in the chair, everything went well. Holly made her feel comfortable and made great conversation all the while gave her a cute haircut. Holly was wonderful and explained that it was the responsibility of each stylist to greet their customers.  But from a customer service perspective as a first timer to the salon, being greeted upon entry would have provided a warmer first impression. Overall, my daughter and I loved the cut though. And I also loved the price and location.

Scheduled my appointment online. You can choose your stylist, time and date. I chose Cinnamon. I went from having long hair to a collar length bob. Cinnamon did a great job and I was out of the shop within 30 minutes. I got a wash, cut and blow dry. My hair looks great and feels great!  I recommend this salon. Maybe pricey to some but it's not a Great Clips type place.

I decided to give this place and another hair stylist a try. I had an 11 AM appt and walked in I was greeted by a stylist and told her who I was here for. She never told the stylist that was here or to have a seat or it'll be a few minutes. Waited at the counter and in the front chairs for 1/2 an hour. Another stylist did tell my hairdresser that I was here. Still no acknowledgement of my hairdresser. Another client came in for the same hairdresser and now we were both ready to reschedule. My hairdresser finally got me in, cut looks great but not sure on the customer service of this place. Must do a better job of that so not sure if I go back. I notice the reviews are so so on cuts/color but pretty good for other services.

AMY IS AMAZING! I'd sat in SO many chairs in Charlotte only to pay a fortune and to walk away with a dingy, dishwater blonde. Thank the Lord for Amy! She understands color and understands BLONDE hair. (So few colorists do.) She adds dimension and my hair looks natural, healthy and bright. It is what every blonde hopes for when they sit down to have their color done. A beautiful blonde. She also colors several of my brunette and "greying" friends and she's magical with color and cuts. I love everything about going to see her. She listens to me, remembers my preferences, and does exactly what I ask for. I get stopped by people often and it's such a good feeling. :) For color and cuts, Amy is THE BEST!
