I've been coming to Jey for four years, and hands down she always offers a five star service. I absolutely love her vibe and magical fingers as she's washing my hair. I always leave her chair with a clean scalp and beautiful style. I also appreciate her covid protocols that help to keep us safe and looking nice with a fresh hair style.

She did my hair on October 18, 2020 she was very dry only texted the whole I guess that's her communication her vibe was off she in a sense seemed irritable it was my first time she left me in her shop alone !! And under the dryer my hair didn't last long the reviews don't add up I didn't get the experience most people have with her I will never go back she's not welcoming and attitude trash

I have been visiting NRBJ for a few years now - Jey styled my hair for my graduate school graduation, my wedding, and the birth of my child.

I began my locs in high school, when locs were considered kind of a fringe hairstyle for weirdos and female professional athletes. Because of this, I have had a hard time finding someone I trust to style my hair. I ran into someone at the gym with pretty locs who told me about Jey, and I'm so glad they did.

Jey is professional, fast, prompt, and well-versed in her craft. I love the products she uses, leaving my locs moisturized, clean, and smelling fresh following each appointment.

Additionally, Jey was knowledgeable in the subject of postpartum hair loss, and encouraged me to NOT freak out when my edges ran off in the first six months postpartum. I am now 15 months pp, and my locs and edges are back in working order under her care. If I ever big chop, I will consult Jey to do so and to care for/maintain my natural hair following.

Jey is clear and direct in educating you about your hair and the process. I have never been disappointed or dissatisfied! Not only is your hair and scalp refreshed, you leave feeling refreshed!

Everyone who utilizes a business' service or visits an establishment has a right to review and provide details about their experience. I find it odd that Jey spends more time trying to write her own reviews or responding to a negative review rather than trying to mediate or rectify the poor service rendered. Please learn to consider the customer's experience, whatever that may have been. Copying/pasting the same rhetoric you tried to post as an actual review in response to mine is unproductive.
