This place gets 0 stars from me. Sandy is terrible. She claims to have been doing nails for 20 years but completely rushed my nails. I mean, my 8 year old daughter could have done my nails better. Any nail tech that does gel polish, knows not to lay the polish on thick. The polish is so thick that it cured lumpy. I made an appointment and then when a white lady came in, she began to rush and not even pay attention to my nails. Brookfield is in a predominantly white area. I am black, its hard not to think you're treated this way in this area because of the color of your skin. My birthday is tomorrow. Sally did not have to do me this way. I am asking that they remove the gel and they used a strong type of gel polish remover that is hurting my nails as we speak and also the reason the color is coming off from the picture.
I have been going there for years to get a pink and white fill. Highly recommend!!! They can usually fit you in quickly.
Absolutely the WORST mani/pedi imaginable! We chose the basic pedicure for $35 and let's just say it wasn't even worth $5. She was done, polish and all in 20 minutes. Horrible polish application too. Manicure was equally poor; rushed and applied too thick so it bubbled and she painted over my cuticles (that were sloppily removed). NO filing was done whatsoever. It was almost like we were being punked; so ridiculously bad. They spoke minimal English so when I tried to point things out she ignored me and when she snipped the skin on my thumb and I flinched, she literally scolded me saying that I scared her. $135 for 2 horrible mani/pedis and we were finished in 50 minutes including dry time. And to make things even worse, the place was filthy. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY!
For it being my first time my experience was awful. I Showed the lady the set of nails I wanted a few times and she still managed to mess them up. She rushes too quickly. When I went back to get them fixed the young man fixed them for me and didn't complain. (Thank you) The lady on the other hand got real defensive and complained.
My mom and I have been going here for years. The owners are very nice. They have wonderful massage chairs, always sanitize everything. Lots of great colors to choose from and always do an amazing job.
