Nails & Spa in Bloomington, IN

This is vey upsetting because I have gone to this salon many times before. I booked online for the gel nail full set. I confirmed with the technician that was what I was getting. I have never done a gel full set before so did not know what to expect, but what I did NOT want was acrylic. They did acrylic anyway. I was passed to two different technicians when a new client came in even though I had scheduled an appointment. I had to re-explain what I wanted and still did not get it. I asked twice to have my nails shorter and rounder and did not get that so I just gave up. Then they charged me extra for long nail shaping. I explained this to Tina when I checked out. No apology,  she just said acrylic is better for long nails, even though I did not ask for acrylic OR long nails.  She said she'd do gel fill next time. Nope. No next time for this customer.

Cute nails but highway robbery. Got these nails and they were $85. They said they applied my student discount too. Will be finding a more financially reasonable place.

I very loved the art and the nails, the spa the the best the workers were very kind and I didn't need to think twice about giving this 5 stars 100% would give a try to.

Dirty, non sterile cuticle trimmers, dirty cloth that still had the previous clients clippings on it. Treated my fingers and nails very roughly with file and file block, so uncomfortable. I go for a relaxing experience, this was not enjoyable at all. I was glad when it was over.

If you want a decent mani/pedi and don't mind waiting a long time and a chaotic atmosphere, then this place will fulfill your needs. I booked an appointment online, but didn't end up being seated until 40 minutes after my appointment time. I'm unsure if they really honor the appointment system they use so you might be better off just walking in with the expectation that you might have to wait a while. While I was there, there was a young child of one of the employees in the waiting area that was screaming, jumping off chairs, and crawling under customers' feet. Other guests and I had to serve as babysitters while waiting which wasn't the relaxing afternoon I had hoped for. The services themselves were good, although my nails were filed down painfully short by the time I left and some of my cuticles were bleeding from rough trimming. Overall, not a great experience but it got the job done.
