NAIL TRENZ in Raleigh, NC

I have been to Nail Trendz a few times. The staff has always been nice however the staff needs to get off their phones. The first 15 minutes of my pedi the guy staff member talked on the phone 3 chairs away. I had about 10 minutes of quite then a woman staff member sat next to me talking on her phone. I find this behavior rude and unprofessional. They should implement a policy, have staff step outside to talk on the phone. Today is a beautiful day, go talk in private. I would not sit talking on my phone even as a customer.

I called before I went to see how much a color change is. I was told $15. I checked out and it was as $18. I questioned it. They charge $3 to cut nails. I have never been charged extra to trim nails anywhere else I have gone. Not only that but the painting of nails was u even and got into the cuticle. This is the first and the last time I will go here

I just wanted to comment on the Jessica T's negative review.  First off I really love this salon and go here regularly.  When I have extra time I get the $55 pedicure and when I'm in a rush I get the $40.  
No one was rude in the salon today but her.  She clearly had to have looked at the pedicure menu to know that the basic pedicure was $35 and the cucumber one was $55.  Now I'm sure if she made a wrong choice in choosing the more expensive one the salon would have done right by the customer and charged only $35.  What is hilarious is that when she was complaining to the sweet owner she said this was her first time here so she didn't know, but then she said she'd been there before and just wasn't a regular.  She also let the whole salon know how she works in a "High Profile" job and took time away during her lunch break.  She was dressed like a slob in casual clothes so not sure what high profile gig she's working?  She then said she was only going to pay what she thought the service was worth and left $15.  I sure wish I knew where her high profile job was so that they could pay her what she's worth.  She was so entitled and rude to the staff.  The owner offered to make it right and she just couldn't stop complaining.  And as she stated herself that she gets pedicures all the time, she should know that at nail salons where majority of the workers are Asian, they always talk and laugh in their native language. And the only thing bad said about her was by the customers that thought she was rude and entirely to much of a white privileged Karen type.  The customer sitting next to you heard everything and told a completely different version!

I'd give 0 stars if I could!!!! Where do I start? I have been here once before and decided to give it one more shot, mainly because my normal nail place was too busy for a walk in today. The lady that I was sent to for a pedicure asked me one question and that was what scent I wanted in my water. I said cucumber. Then I said I wanted the basic pedicure ($35) today and she said no you selected the $55 dollar pedicure bc of the added scent. Never was up front about the cost. Keep in mind I'm not a regular so I was not aware. If you ask me, shady and dishonest right off the bat. Now when I asked her to get more of my nails trimmed and skin, she scoffed, and grunted at me and started telling me I already did that. Not attempt to give customer satisfaction. The rudest nail place I've ever been to. Also loved she was talking in her native tongue to her college (talking crap) I'm sure. If you want an actual customer service nail salon that doesn't throw attitude and dishonesty your way, AVOID nail Trendz like the plague. They do not deserve you business.

They serviced me 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment. While I appreciated their apologies for this overlook it didn't help that I received a terrible fill in with nail art. I showed the tech a photo of the art I wanted done and she said she could accomplish it. She attempted it and then realized she couldn't do it. She then dramatically simplified the art while charging me the same amount. On top of that the actual work was sloppy. I already need a fill and I just got them done today. Picture attached.
