NAIL 1st in Rock Hill, SC

So check this out:

I made an appointment for my Mom and me for mani/ pedi to be completed at the same time at 11:45 AM. Confirmed the service twice, gave name, and verified the time. Here I now sit at 1 PM and guess who will not be getting her mani/pedi? Me!! Apparently whoever made the appointment didn't ensure staffing to accommodate the services to be completed at the same time....which was the point!!

After waiting almost an hour I decided to cancel my services and allowed my Mom to continue with her services... and that is ONLY because her pedicure was already started.

It's rare that we get to go out together and enjoy things like this and it  frustrates me that our experience was completely ruined by LOUSY customer service!! No apology was given and no ownership was taken. They just sit there and ignored me as if I did not matter. I guess they didn't need the $200 + , so I'll take my hard earned money elsewhere. It's their loss because I tip *extremely* well but not today....as a matter of fact I have a tip:

Enroll in Customer Service 101 ASAP.

I always always always tell any technician new to me that I have a severe latex allergy because I break out in hives.  she starts out with....... latex gloves on  My sons technician had to tell mine where the latex free gloves were.....
Well at least my son had a great experience. Looks like a trip to the hospital tonight for me to get a treatment for hives. Just what I wanted to do.

I was visiting from out of town and went in wanting to get an ombré on my nails. I can in with a picture from Pinterest that was not difficult AT ALL. Although they had different ombré samples available they made it seem as if what I was asking for was too difficult. After practically begging the nail tech to just try to do what I asked for she finally did it and was surprisingly proud of herself; she went on to rave about how pretty and how well they came out. The next day I broke my nail and went back in to get the one nail fixed and I asked to speak with the manager, so the manager sat down and looked at my nails and told me "we don't do that length" "I don't know how to do that", mind you they had the ombré options available RIGHT beside me. So after fussing and ignoring me as if she didn't know what or who I was talking to, I walked THE MANAGER through how to replicate the ombré from the day before STEP BY STEP she finally did it. Lol I have never received service so horrible. Save your money. Try somewhere else.

I truly love this Nail Salon...for many reasons.
-They all speak great English and actually talk to you and not around you.
-They don't push extra services on you or guilt you into upgrading your pedicure.
-They are reasonably priced, with great quality
-They always have enough technicians, I never have to wait
-If you get both a mani and pedi, they don't try to do your manicure while you are trying to relax for your pedicure and stand over you in your massage chair
-All Technicians have their name (in English) on their booth space, so you can remember who to ask for
-The selection of colors and types of services is great

I personally don't understand the bad reviews because I've always had a positive experience. Perhaps it's because I walk in with a positive attitude and treat the technicians kindly. If you come in being demanding/rude and talking down to them...you probably won't enjoy it as much. Just my thoughts.

Bad service and not good quality nails and i wasn't satisfied. The lady tried to tell me how my nails should look but if the customer unsatisfied don't argue fix it! It's a waste of money
