Nail & Spa Connection in Norwich, CT

I have never had such a poor experience at a nail salon. I made a reservation earlier this week for a mani/pedi for today at 3:30. I showed up exactly on time, and was made to wait until 4:00 to start with the pedicure. Understandable, I definitely get that things do not always run on time. The pedicure is fine, it takes about 45 minutes. Then, the nail tech tells me that she won't be able to do my manicure because she has other appointments. At this point, I'm very confused, I'm not sure if she is asking me to reschedule, telling me I need to wait, or telling me I'm cancelled all together. So I ask this, and she calls across the room to see how long I would have to wait  and the other nail tech shrugs and says 35 minutes. After realizing that I was deciding between just calling it on the mani or deciding if a 2.5-3 hour mani/pedi (with having an appointment) was worth it, I ultimately I decided to pay for the pedi and leave. I am still just flabbergasted at the whole experience and will not be returning due to extremely poor customer service.

Follow up: I called another salon, Nail Plus, who ended up being fully booked for the day. However, when I explained my situation and that I was leaving for my honeymoon, the owner was extremely sweet and accommodating, and even fit me in after business hours. Highly recommend Nail Plus!

I walked in and the lady nicely greeted us. She gave us a paper to fill out to make sure that we understood their COVID-19 policies which was fine. I asked her for something very simple (Shown in picture). I got something no where near close to what I asked for (Also shown in picture). The yellow is not what I had asked for even thought they had it and she insisted it was the closest to it they had. She suggested that the green in the reference photo was a nude and put that on my thumb without asking and then I asked for more of a green and she gave me a dark green. She originally had a moon gem picked out but she put it back and decided to free hand paint it and it looked nothing like the picture. There was gel polish all over my fingers, she pressed way too hard when pushing back my cuticles and even made me bleed on some spots when cutting them off. Going in, my nails were not this short. She filed them down so much and too hard on one of my fingers and cut under my nail because of it. The gel is painted on way too thick and doesn't even go all the way to the sides at some spots. I am very disappointed and will not be going back.

My first time there and I Love love love my nails!!!  Shaped perfectly and designed exactly like I asked!!  Relaxing pedicure also!!  Super nice staff. Highly recommend I will be a regular customer & will be bringing my daughter also!!!!!!

I absolutely love this place. The technicians are very friendly and thorough, and the place very much has a cozy, family- vibe to it. My manicures are always done well and they're great about scheduling too. I recommend this place to everyone I meet, check it out!

I drive 20 minutes to come to this nail salon. Amazing staff. Amazing quality. And cleanliness is great as well. Emily is the best hands down. She takes her time and makes sure her work is perfect! I'm never disappointed when Emily does my nails.
