This was the best pampering I done had since the pandemic. This is my second visit and today was very pleasant, relaxing and soothing. Overall, much needed! I almost gave up on nail salons in Desoto county. The atmosphere was welcoming & inviting. Everyone wore their mask which was not expected. It was NOT packed out like most nail salons. The area was fresh and clean. It was only 3 customers in the shop at the time I visited. I like how they had the tv on massage/relaxation music. I almost fell asleep. At that point I didn't even care how my nails turned out because the atmosphere was everything. I never been to a nail salon that play soothing, relaxing music, most have the tv on news or drama. This is a PLUS When it come to pampering. I definitely received the pampering I been seeking. I love my pedicure and manicure thanks to THAO. The foot massage, arm massage and back massage did it for me. I will definitely be back, plus refer others. Keep up the GREAT work ladies.
technician was very rude and got irritated when I asked questions... She seemed to be irritated also that I had powder on my nails from another salon and she said that they didn't do powder there so she did the acrylic fill over my powder and Never had me go wash my hands... The manager there seemed nice but checked out what I had chosen for a color and remarked that it was safe and conservative ... wait, what? people started looking over to see what color I chose and one of the other nail techs who was doing a pedicure next to mine said that it was too light and tried to tell me something that I had no idea what she said because her accent was so strong I couldn't understand her... After my nail tech puts this color choice on my toenails I told her that all the imperfections in my toenail could be seen through that color and that I might need to get a thicker color; at this point I could tell she was really aggravated and said "well that's what we tried to tell you"...
it pretty much just went downhill from there... i'm having surgery tomorrow and was on a timeframe and just wanted to get my nails done and unfortunately my salon that I normally go to is not open on Sundays... I would not recommend this salon to anyone!
This is the worst nail salon that I have ever been to. Lisa talked to me so rudely and with such disrespect. This salon is NASTY, DATED, RUDE, OVERPRICED! YOUR NAILS WILL NOT LAST A WEEK!! If I good give it 0 stars I would! NEVER AGAIN!
The service was ok. They seem to not clean and sanitize their tools and pedicure stations. I got a fungal infection on my hands and feet. Definitely not going back!!
I use to love getting my feet done here but last week I had the worst experience ever. I came in an was seated in a pedicure chair. They left me sitting there so long that my feet had turned white, bubbles turned off and water was cold. My nail tech walked by and adjusted my water and turned bubbles back on. However in the midst of me waiting there was also another lady waiting before me. In walks a Caucasian couple. The nail techs proceeded to service them. Never mind me and the other lady who were there way before them . Let me just say that we are African Americans. This was a rude and unfair display of customer service . I will NEVER go back and I hope people don't patronize places like this. My money isn't stamped with a racial profile. This is 2018 but I see in places like this nothing has changed. I will not be mistreated because of the color of my skin!!!! My money is green too!
