A regular manicure typically involves nail shaping, cuticle care, and the application of nail polish, which can last up to a week. A gel manicure involves similar steps but uses a gel-based polish and UV light to cure the polish, resulting in a more durable finish that can last up to two weeks without chipping.

So I was referred by my daughter n law to see Mama B and Jen. I got the regular pedicure and a full set. Mama Bee did my pedi and I was disappointed. So let's back up I was called because my appt was pushed back because another client was late, the reason I know is because I knew the late client and she said I'm late and Jen is going to get me and I said to her oh you're the reason my appt was pushed back? Ok so I received a regular pedi and I've been getting my pedi's done for years to know that the person providing service is supposed to scrub your feet with that square pad. Mama Bee only did my toes she didn't scrub the sides or my heels, she said I didn't get the right pedi and that my feet are peeling and I did t need them scrub because it might start to bleed! Like lady what are you talking about?! So I mentioned everything to Jen and she stopped me while I was talking and said I didn't do your pedi and that she don't do pedi's so she don't know what I was supposed have done. I said everyone knows a regular pedi come with the scrub why would I pay 45 for you to put my feet on water, take off my polish and polish with gel I could have just got a polish change. Just rushed and dis the bare minimum so they can get you to upgrade your service! Jen even got aggravated because she wanted me to take my hands out the uv light before the timer went off and I kindly told her no, I like for the timer to go off so my polish don't chip . She had the receptionist call another client to push her time back! Poor girl need to get her time management together so she don't be so tired. You can also tell who the regulars are they treat them better. Just a bad experience! I didn't receive a discount or anything for my time and or not having a service completed all they did was talk in their language to each other! I told Jen and the receptionist they have poor customer service and I will not be back. She
Place is super convenient to get to. First time her price was great. Nice was great. My second time at location I received the same thing. Fill in toe polish with gel. No designs. Nothing absolutely nothing extra. Price was up at least 10 bucks. I ask the receptionist how come, she said some crap. I didn't want to look like a angry black woman so I paid and left. Now fast forward I went a few more times. Each time price went up. Today was the Big Deal one. The lady at 15 was so rude and ask to not do my nails because I ask about the price. Her name is Helen. Left me super confused. Then the next lady I don't no her name but two of my nails had broke off. I glued them back on a few days ago. I told her they need to be repaired that also was told to the receptionist lady as well. When she got to those two nails. I see her drilling them. I told her they broke. They need repaired. She said no no she going fix. Well no fix She just put the acrylic on two broke nails. And still charge me $10 for repaired. When asked they start coming up with all kinds of numbers and prices. And the prices on the wall. Which I guess incorrect because she told me them prices is not all the time. The lady was super ruff. The drill come off the nail on my finger a few times. Which cause me to move my hand back because of the pain which she don't apologize and push hand back towards her.
This place is so Big. With so many worker and so many people very noisy no relaxing. Some staff have great attitudes and really nice and some are awful. They makes prices up as as they go.
I am tired of these places. Customer service is wack. Not one place cares about they customers. It's only money the job be a mess and they no it. Prices change every time you go.
I went to My Bella Nail Bar today for the first time at the suggestion of a coworker.
I overheard the receptionist speaking in a condescending tone as she talked with several of the clients. When it was my turn to interact with her, she was short/tempered and unfriendly. She gave me the price for the services I asked about prior to sitting down with the technician.
I waited 30 minutes before being seated to get my nails done. The service was okay...just 'okay'. After my nails were finished the technician told me I owed $25 over the price I was originally quoted.
If you're a first-timer, please be careful and extremely clear about the services you want. I saw at least two people get to the check out desk, along with myself, and question the price of the services they received.
Also, bring cash! Apparently, you receive a 5% discount if you pay with cash instead of using a credit card which will cost you regular price.
Nails aren't the best, the shape/length of each nail are different and inconsistent. Second time here. Won't be back
Once again Once again Once again!!! Ms.Lien has done it again!! She literally gets me right every time!!.. she takes her time. Make sure she finds the right colour in everything. I got my nails done today she slayed them once again is the brown sack.
