I shouldn't have gone back. Got medium box braids the 1st time for $180, with a $40 tip. I winced whenever they twisted too tight and they would apologize and loosen the grip. I ended up with nice braids and very little discomfort. That was the first time. Second time (3 days ago), I got the same for $200 plus a $40 tip. I started off by asking them to be gentle and they said okay. A total of 4 people worked on my hair. The older woman who did the back quarter section yanked at every single piece. The whole head is much tighter and painful, but her section is the worst. It's been two days, 12 Advils, and 2 nights of some anti-itch crème, and the section still hurts so much that I had to start removing each braid. These red bumps are around each part and hurt so bad. I cannot recommend this shop.

If you make your appointment early in the morning it takes them a while to start on your hair but once they began they are very fast, I have had my hair braided here twice, I love that they provide the hair in the price one less stop and purchase I dont have to make. I had a different braider on each visit so even though I requested the same style cornrows with the ends twisted to make it easier to take down the braids came out completely different. I get lots of compliments on how neat and nice they look.

I just had a very good experience at this Hair braiding shop, now I haven't worn twist or braids in years because I was so very dissatisfied with other braiding shops customer service , I vowed to not give another one my money , until they learned to respect us. Moha Hair Braiding was so so polite, they also spoke English very well, and were easy to understand. They also finished my hair in within the quoted time, and actually a hour earlier. I would definitely recommend this shop. First time was great, will be back

I have been getting my hair braided here for at least 10 years and they do a great job! Always fair, fast, and very pleasant. I like consistency and great service and I have found that here. Mamie is the whip!

This place is HORRIBLE!!! Never come here for dreads/ twists they did my boyfriends retwist and caked his hair up with gel. Gel was all down his neck and on his sweatshirt. Not to mention his dreads were hard as a rock and glued together with gel. Went to get his money back and at first denied him the money and then only gave him half the money back. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! go somewhere else!
