Renee the scheduler was very friendly and professional. I met the ladies at the salon and they were so amazing and nice. It was a great service. I got boho braids. My hair was included and when I say the establishment was nice they had this really cool lounge with snacks for you to wait in. The beautiful ladies there had me in and out so fast not to mention the wash was Amazing . The epitome of professional beauty service. I would highly recommend this place. Just know they are by appointment only.

I am regretting my choice of getting my hair styled here. I'm not sure if it's that the braider couldn't accomplish the style I wanted or what. First the thing I liked about the establishment was that it's nice and clean and I love that they wash and dry hair. The staff is indeed pleasant. All a plus in my book! I had to drive pretty far to get to them and was 15m late do to construction so I tipped a nice tip beforehand. My biggest regret! It's also my fault for not being alert at the time of leaving. I work nights and also had an early (for me) appointment so I was exhausted from lack of sleep, the travel and the time in the chair and just ready to go home and sleep. Once I woke from a nap I was able to truly see my hair. It's cute for the style but it's not what I wanted (I sent a picture a week in advance) nor do I believe it's worth the $235 price plus my tip I gave. Sucks I was so hopeful I'd found a place I could frequent when I go to visit family in Detroit but it's back to the drawing board.

Beautiful shop, clean, warm, inviting. The braider are very nice, beautiful, and fast. I have gotten so many compliments from people on how neat and wonderful my hair looks. Briana was my braider but each braider did a great job on all their clients. Never will I ever go back to the African shop for braids.

230 dollar for braids that fell out and unraveled the same week. The two ladies Jayda and another did my hair and it's terrible. It was really a waste of my money and I deserve a refund. Because it is a waste of my money. The shop is clean and the girls a nice but I would rather go to the African braid shop because the quality is better. Since I was not offered a refund I'll just share my experience.
