Meraki Salon in Richmond, VA

La Bella is the salon I've been searching for!!! I was looking for someone who specializes in blonde hair, and when I called to make an appointment I was told Nancy was the "go-to" person for blondes. That was 100% accurate! I have long layers and wanted to brighten up my blonde. Nancy worked her magic and my hair looks better than it has in years! I even waited a couple of weeks before posting this review, just to see how my hair held up. It looks as beautiful today as it did when I walked out of the salon. Nancy is both a professional and an artist, and I'm so grateful I found her! La Bella also sells R & Co. products, which speaks to their commitment keeping up with the latest and greatest!

After Brittany left, this place went downhill. I am saddened to say that I no longer recommend this place. I was scheduled for an appointment with one of their stylists before a holiday a few months ago, and asked if I could add babylights to my partial balayage appointment. The front desk lady said she would find out for me and give me a call back after talking to the stylist. Minutes later, my appointment was CANCELED. I called again to find out what happened and she said the stylist didnt have time so they just canceled my appointment but can reschedule if I wanted to, as if it was my fault for canceling. I wanted to keep that appointment and would've been okay with doing babylights another time since I needed it done before the holiday. I've expressed all this to the manager/owner and she hasn't even responded or acknowledged it to this day. I DO NOT recommend! A picture of my hair that Brittany did for me is posted on here, however I wish it wasn't as Brittany left and I am sure NOT coming back ever. This is the single most frustrating salon I've ever had to deal with.

My very good friends got married today and I wanted to look and feel amazing for their special day. Brook (I'm sorry if I'm spelling wrong!) is an AMAZING apprentice! This was my first time meeting her, let alone having her style my hair, and from the moment she greeted me I was blown away by her friendly demeanor , professionalism, and knowledge of hair. I left feeling like a million bucks and 8 hours later, my hair STILL looked incredible, just as it looked when I walked out of La Bella this morning.

Amazing from start to finish! First time coming here and won't be my last. April knows her colors and her cuts!

I had my first appointment with Page a few weeks ago and am beyond thrilled with my hair! She took the time to do an in person consult before I even made my appointment. I showed her some photos on Pinterest and talked about my vision and she TOTALLY executed it! I can't say how impressed I am with her and her work! I've definitely found my stylist!
