Salon 23 in Richmond, VA

The Salon is well appointed, clean, and everyone you encounter is welcoming and makes you feel as though you are a friend, not a dollar sign. Tyler is professional, excellent in his role, and truly a fantastic choice as a director of first impressions. My chosen stylist, who I came specifically to Salon 23 for, is Jerod Jeffers. The man is a genius in all things aesthetic. He delivered me from a terrible brassy blonde dye job from another "high-end" salon to a gorgeous platinum (that which dare I say rivaled Daenerys) that I had spent countless hours and ridiculous amounts of money trying to achieve. Had I just come to Jerod in the first place I could have saved myself valuable time, beaucoups of money, and the humiliation of walking around like Brassy Barbie. In addition, I was going through a divorce and I then chose to cut off my long hair in favor of a sassy, sexy pixie which he freaking KILLED. I have had short hair before, and it always came out at the very least lacking in style, shape, and general attractiveness. Jerod is professional, understands true style, is a master of color, and is so easy to talk to. He genuinely listens to you and delivers, every.damn.time.

I can't say enough positive things about Salon 23. I have followed stylist Jerod Jeffers all over RVA! He makes "hair day" something to look forward too. He is an active listener and always gives me exactly the look and color I was hoping for. He's patient, keeps up with all the current trends and takes his time to make sure I leave the salon feeling beautiful. Tyler holds down the salon fort and is the cherry on top of every visit. He is professional and has amazing customer service skills. His product knowledge is always on point if I need a recommendation or have a question. Tyler always has the best tunes playing creating the perfect atmosphere for every client. I love this place!

Jessica, thank you for your response but I think you missed the entire issue! Tyler charged me for services not received! He did a knowledge on phone conversation. This wasn't about transparent pricing but paying for services actually received! I only had partial highlight! One color, partial and haircut for $255.00? Had Tuler addressed when I questioned price, we wouldn't be here. Again, I do appreciate your acknowledgement but would have rathered an honest apology for charging me for services not received! I've come to this salon a few times and have been impressed by the family feel yet professional approach to hair care. Meleah has been the best stylist - she gave me a completely new look, listening carefully to what I asked for. I love being greeted with hot tea and a smile. Love the results on my hair and everything in between! This is a "must try" if you're looking for a new salon in the Richmond area.
