Meissa is not only an excellent African hair stylist. She is a nurturer. She cares more about the health of your hair than the money. More important, she listens to you and ask the right questions. She is a God fearing Christ loving person who keeps it real but in perspective. I highly recommend her and the other beauticians in her salon.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! I wanted long kinky twists with Burgundy and Blonde hair, She quoted me 150 over the phone. The shop was DISGUSTING!!!! I only stayed because I NEEDED my hair done right away. Plus the owners 70+ mother was there sleeping in the middle of the floor on a blow up mattress :-( One girl started my hair then the owner decided to help her because she was taking too long. That bitch JACKED MY HAIR UP!!!! (Mean while granny is walking around in see through pajamas with her nipples showing!!! CLEARLY!!! EWWW!!! )My parts were thin, uneven and all over the place on her side and the young girl had the other side even and uniform. When she was done she said 180!!! I said you told me 150 and she said well you got the long twists. Mind you my hair is only neck length!!! Anyhow I told her I only had 150 and she said well next time make sure I get the proper length. Filthy, nasty, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I WILL NEVER go here EVER AGAIN!!!!
