Martino Cartier Salon in Sewell, NJ

Rude to family I sent there. Very disappointed. Couldn't be bothered to take the time to discuss what my sister and mother wanted done. The people that work there made them feel like they were not good enough to get their hair done there. Not the first time I heard this. Friends have received same type treatment. That's unfortunate. Without satisfied customers, what can businesses count on!!

Please understand, I am writing this review with tears in my eyes. My beautiful daughter in law was diagnosed with cancer. She has been through so much in the last few months. I do everything in my power to help her and my son, to get through this. A good friend referred me to Martino Cartier Salon and their Wigs and Wishes charity. I made the appointment not knowing what exactly to expect. Please know that my daughter in law has shown so much strength and grace throughout this fight. We shaved her head after her first treatment. She didn't loose her hair until her third treatment. It was traumatic. It was the first time she stated that she had cancer. We had her wig appointment today. She was nervous. She has dyed her hair for years. Most recently, it has been purple. Though they didn't have a purple wig, Lianne was so beyond kind and found a wig that complimented her style. To make her feel more like herself, she added some colored extensions. On our way home, she kept looking in the mirror. I thought it was so sweet. Then she told me that she hadn't been looking at herself in the mirror because she didn't like the stranger who stared back at her. This brought a tear to my eye. Thank you, for giving her a bit of herself back!!! She is such a beautiful soul and I am so happy to see her with a real smile, rather than a forced one.

There is no salon and no human better than Martino Cartier. I will drive hours to see him as I do not trust anyone else, not only with my hair, but with how he makes me feel about myself. It's not a salon, it's a family as so many people express. you feel cared for but you also have the most sophisticated service and quality of your results. And, you also know that he so cares so much about the women and children she is helping with his charity and his humanitarian impact. beyond 5 stars!

this salon is more than a salon, Martino and staff make you feel like family.. if you can even comprehend the wonderful charity work and all the wonderful , caring service they provide for those dealing with cancer. you will realize you are in the company of greatness. don't pass up experiencing the salon and staff offers !! Having your hair treated with such a talented staff is a real treat !!

Martino Cartier's salon, is five stars enough? I think not. Absolutely phenomenal!!! I went on a Saturday morning and boy were they busy! However, despite full stations, it didn't feel like that. Each station operated so smoothly and efficiently. Never rushed. Very thorough, attentive, and comfortable!! I am a people watcher. I feel like a lot of people are but don't admit it. Every employee was happy and filled with love and passion for what they do. I watched each hair dresser. Each taking their time making a connection with their client and making sure their client knew they were special. Even the owner, Martino!! I was impressed. He spent so much time with each client. Before he even started a clients treatment he spent time listening and absorbing every word spoken to him. The genuine love and passion he shows makes you believe in the good of this world again. This salon isn't just about hair cuts. This salon is the full treatment: physical, emotional, spiritual. I was in awe with amazement.
