My experience was wonderful and I definitely will go back because of Sharon. She was professional, warm and knowledgeable. I have thick, long curly hair and most stylists hate doing my hair because it's a lot of work. Sharon didn't make me feel that way at all and I felt so relaxed. $350 for an balayage that was not worth it. I was assured that the color I showed her in pictures was doable in a single session because I know from other salons that some colors can take multiple trips. My roots were a little darker so she said it wouldn't look exactly like the pictures, but I would have a nice silver outcome which I agreed to. That was not accurate. The color looked nice, but definitely wasn't what I wanted considering how much it cost. Definitely not silver. The blonde layers of the balayage were lower than other salons I've gone to so I didn't appreciate that I'd have to go back to the salon sooner. She also insulted my natural hair color which probably wasn't intentional but still a little rude. The girl that washed my hair was nice.
My stylist was very friendly, but 15 min late (not big deal). BUT 2 stars because Alexis was very rude, she completely ignored me when I walked in just because she knew I wasn't her customer. I came shortly after the salon opened. She greeted and was talking with her customer who walked in before me. Alexis didn't bother to acknowledge me at alllll. Not a "hello", not a "someone will be with you as soon as they can", although she was the only stylist I saw at that time. I stood at the entrance for over 15 minutes without any acknowledgement whatsoever. I initially didn't even know her name, I had to ask who she was (then I looked her up on Salon Tomai's website to verify). I usually see whatever stylist is available, but I will be sure to never get Alexis because of how rude she was. Not to mention I watched as she was curling her own hair and kept her own customer waiting! She kept playing (running her fingers through) with her own long dark hair as if she's a beauty queen or something as she ignored me and kept her own customer waiting...
Thank you Dina! My hair never looked so good! I went in with very thin, dry hair and left with beautiful long beachey thick waves thanks to the gorgeous extensions Dina applied. This was the first time I have had extensions and I love them. Dina made me feel very comfortable and answered all of my questions. The salon itself is adorable and clean. Everyone is so nice!
