For reference, I'm a male that tried this place because it was nearby. First of all, it's extremely expensive, haircut was $70. For that much money you'd expect at least a decent haircut, but I explicitly told the specialist I would like a 4-5 blend with clippers on the sides, and within 2 minutes she has begun shaving my head with a 1, before I even noticed she was using the wrong number I had large lines shaved off. Finally, the haircut wasn't even and has patches. Would definitely not recommend for men wanting a haircut, just go to a barber.
i have left multiple messages and never got a call back. i used to love getting my hair blown dry and/or colored here but how can i go back if my calls aren't taken or returned. so i went elsewhere in malibu. salt, a salon on point Dume opened that answered my call.
Very overpriced, should not be 450 dollars for a partial highlight and trim. I was very shocked at the price!! Very ridiculous
The WORST service I have ever received. This salon, and the owner, took advantage of my teenage daughter. They first overcharged her by $200 - charged $450 for a cut and partial highlight. Called to inquire and was told that they gave me back $60. The agreed upon price was $250 - which was absurd to begin with. On top of tipping the stylist on venmo of $50 (per her request). I called to complain and the owner hung up on me. Buyer beware. Horrific experience.
Everyone in this Salon is wonderful. They will go out of their way to make appointments on short notice. Amanda does my color carefully and i get complements on the "natural" highlights in my hair! Almost everyone in Malibu goes to the Malibu Oasis Salon because of the convenient location and first rate service.
