My review is not false.....to the other 5 star reviewer.....you weren't there so you have absolutely no idea what your even talking about. It is impossible that your great experience will be everyone else's. Don't speak on something you weren't present for.

Low ratings are false- been coming here for 10+ years and have never been met with nothing but professionalism, literally the best pricing in town by far, and outstanding kindness by every member on staff. I have referred many people to this salon, especially Tina and Anna, since I was a teenager and they still frequent this place over a decade later. Sure I don't live down the street from here any longer, but I drive an hour across town for the best and most beautiful treatments money can buy in the Portland area. If you're looking to feel amazing without breaking the bank, you found the best spot! Thank you so much Tina, Anna, and team! I'm a client as long as you'll have me!

Dear Tina;
It is very surprising and sad that you chose to get angry and  defiant with me using a gift card that was purchased  by my husband for Christmas two years ago.   You did receive the money in advance, as payment for this service.   So in reality, with both of the gift certificates, we overpaid for this haircut.  
I wanted to do business with local businesses and I liked the way you cut hair and have gone to no one else since moving to Hillsboro, but it is obvious that you do not appreciate your returning customers.  COVID has affected us all, 2020 and 2021 were most challenging years, but, your behavior and attitude is appalling.  
Just so you know, this quote is Oregon law, with the Oregon Department of Justice websites that I got the information from.

I will take the advise given as you tore up the gift certificates and returned the $10.00 tip I gave you and never return to your place of business.  Also, I will give this review on line for future customers.

THIS IS THE ACTUAL LETTER I SENT AFTER LEAVING THE SALON.

I've been going to Main St. Beauty Salon for almost two years and have left happy every time. They take all precautions for COVID - masks, no magazines or coffee, plexiglass at the pedicure station, appointments only so not too many people there at once. My color is always beautiful, and when I wanted to change it up just a bit, Tina listened and gave me what I wanted. The cut is consistently great - I have very thick wavy hair and Tina makes it look so pretty and it's easy to take care of myself. I had my first pedicure there today and it was terrific - very relaxing, gentle on the nail clipping and cuticle care yet just-right firm on the leg and foot massage.  Prices are very reasonable and service is great.
