Lush nails in Plymouth, MN

My go to, once a month! Never had a gel manicure I didn't like, and I see a new person almost every time. Their massage chairs for pedicures are ELITE! I do recommend making an appointment, either online or call day of. Cute shop, friendly staff.

I've been coming to this nail salon for over a year and the quality of work and customer service has been declining steadily over the last several months. I went in on Monday 10/30 for a fill, and on Wednesday 11/1 one of my nails broke and the polish on the others began chipping/peeling. I returned today, Friday 11/3 to get my broken nail fixed and the others re-painted. The nail tech that did my nails was clearly in a rush and not personable at all. She made me feel like the poor quality of my nails was MY fault and even said "you chipped too many nails so I have to charge you extra". I don't care about paying for the services that I am being provided, but I find it odd that I should have to pay for poor quality nails TWICE. I really want to like this salon again, but the repeat poor service is a non-negotiable for me. Getting my nails done is a treat and I like to trust that if I spend my time and money with an establishment that it will be an enjoyable experience. I will definitely find another nail salon that appreciates my patronage and provides higher quality services & results. The attached pictures were taken immediately after my "repair" services today.

My two friends and I made an appointment to get our nails done here and were very excited. Well we all left disappointed. One friend got acrylics and the nails were extremely chunky and had random paint chunk dots all over them. I got gel nails and the lady who did them was extremely kind and did a great job. On the website showed as 30$ for gel polish but was told the price was 40$ at the end (not including tip)?? I know I didn't have anything extra for that charge. I didn't bother being assertive about it cause i knew it could possibly turn into a whole ordeal. My other friend got acrylics and they were horrible. Extremely chunky and thick and very uneven. They both paid 115$ plus dollars for mostly simple acrylic nail set. Honestly think we were being scammed with the prices, I've gone to salons that charge 70$ for a full set that look way better than theirs. My friends didn't ask to get them fixed since we had plans right after. They both actually went to get them removed at another salon a few days later.

I've been coming (on and off) to lush for over a year and I love this nail salon. The salon itself is super cute and clean and its always a guaranteed relaxing experience. I am an acrylic girl and 9/10 they will give me a super cute set. I've recently started doing designs with them and for the most part they come out real cute! Just like any other salon, how well the nails come out depends on who you get but I will say that even the less well done jobs were still cute. I also love that I can almost always call and get an appointment (even on a busy Saturday).
