Great Clips in Plymouth, MN

I had Nikki cutting my hair and let me tell you this was one of the worst haircuts I ever got. Apparently she does not know what a high fade is as she shaved all my hair the same length on the sides and left about 3 inches on top. I kept trying to tell her what I wanted and she proceeded to argue. Ive been getting my haircut the same for the past 2 years. And instead of trying to listen to what I wanted and she went on and said "we all have different styles of cutting hair". how does that change from following directions? What the customer ask for is what the customer gets. This is not a high grade style salon where you can experiment. Just do what your told. She had a attitude the whole time, sarcastic and prissy. Told her I wanted my hair to have a square look but instead rounded. I just needed a haircut for my military obligations but apparently I'm gonna go looking like a clown. If I could give no stars I would. I have no idea why she thought she could tell me I'm wrong on the way I wanted my haircut. Horrible customer service and waste of my time. Save your money and go somewhere else!

When I got here the cat five people ahead of me and they were able to cut all our hairs within 30 minutes or so. My haircut took the longest because I had the long hair. The others mostly did not have long hair. They still fairly charged me the same but I tip them good. All of us left with well executed haircuts. Easy location plenty of parking spots even though it's hard to find a parking 2 yards in front of the store typically you have to walk 10 yards or 15 yards to get in. Plenty of restaurants and shops around it. Easy access to Rockford Road and to Highway 494. The ladies were fun as they were talking to the customers, plenty of conversation starters with different topics. Since there were only two ladies when I came so everybody was kind of participating in the conversation. The lady who cut my hair went through the system she was able to copy what her colleague at previous location did for me. Great skilled and experienced employees. NB: i'm wondering if corporations and their employees are getting better because they're always looking for great reviews. You go Yelp !

Rude reception. Bad customer service. Average haircut; go someplace else, anywhere else.

Went in for a basic trim with my hair up in a ponytail. The girl took my hair down, didn't comb it or wet it down, and spent less than 5 minutes just snipping around my head. I was appalled and left and made an appointment a couple hours later at Volume Salon a mile away to fix the hack job she did. The worst part? While giving me a crap haircut, she lectured me the whole time about how I should be updating my products to xyz so my hair would look better. This was the final blow to great clips for me - i'm done with these chains. I'd rather spend the extra $20 at a real salon and get an awesome haircut and not feel like crap after

I have had my hair cut at this location twice, with two different people. Both gave me a great cut. This shop is very friendly, clean and a pleasant environment. I have spent a lot of money on my haircuts and I find that I do not need to spend lots of money for a great cut. Be sure to tip well as this is a very inexpensive fee for the quality cut you receive.
