Terrible haircut. All they care about is turnovers and not about giving a nice cut. This is especially true for male
I am ok with this place but negative two stars for how short the cut she gave. I think I am still in shock of the outcome of my haircut. I like that they can see me when I didn't have a reservation. The place wasn't busy so that's my luck. Parking is plenty for how early it was. I explained to her what I wanted which is a long layer. Measured it for her for the hair to be longer than my shoulder like to my chest length. My hair is long pass my back so plenty of length to work on. Telling her where I think is appropriate in length. And notice I kept in emphasize on length. Thought we were on the same page. Nope! The moment she cut straight my back with no work in sectioning. I knew she fucked it up. My hair cut is way short above my shoulder. Not fan out layers and I look like I just got fresh off a boat. I am so unsure of what to say so I just paid and left. That good luck turns into a bad luck. Will not come back and I so want to like the place. Update: After two weeks and this haircut pisses me off more and more each day. Look at what layering mean to this stylist. This is literally a person with no experience or schooling cutting hair. I am so pissed off that I blew off my appointment for highlights with her thinking that I was going to give her a chance but then if I am still fuming about this. It's best to skip her appointment altogether. I am afraid what I might say to her instead and I have a shitty temper. After two weeks and I am not feeling better. That's a bad sign so best I cut ties now. Please do not go in if you don't already know the stylist. You too will get this fresh off the boat look.
Well I am not too sure about the name of the stylist who cut my hair. I am hoping she was not Jennifer who was highly praised in a lot of reviews. Because she was not friendly or patient AT ALL. I visited on a Saturday afternoon like one week ago and she asked me to wait. When it was my turn, she started to talk to me in a way as if she was giving me orders (without saying things like "please" or "could you" etc.) - I don't think this is due to any reasons like language barrier because talking nicely doesn't require you to be a perfect English speaker. Anyways when she started to ask about my expectations for the haircut, I tried to describe in detail and with patience. However, she seemed to be super impatient about what I was saying and said "I have no time for this", which SHOCKED me. That's not how you treat your customers!!! During the process, I was even more surprised to find that the stylist could NOT TELL IF LEFT AND RIGHT WERE THE SAME LENGTH! I was pretty sure my left side hair was longer than the right but she just couldn't tell! And she just became more and more impatient... jeez And no surprise my resulting hair looked NOT GOOD. And it looked worse and worse after I got home. I am 28 and my hair now makes me look like a 45. One week passed and I am starting to consider redoing it. In conclusion, this place is not worth the money and I am never gonna come back. Like seriously how could you not invest some patience in your customers?!
Called in the am on a Saturday morning to see if I can do a walk-in and they asked me to come in at 12pm for a cut by Jennifer. I was glad to be assigned to her because I read very good things about this stylist in various reviews. I arrived at 11:50am and Jennifer was working with another client, but she was done at 12pm on the dot. Very punctual. She asked me how I wanted my haircut, what concerns I had and made sure she addressed them. She's not a woman of many words, which I prefer, but she's friendly and quick, as she was done with the haircut and blowout in about 40 min. The haircut cost me $75, which is more than what I am used to paying in NYC, but I loved the result, so I tipped her well! Would be coming more often if I lived in SF!
My daughter went in to get her hair cut before school started. Not only did Kessica not come even close to what she asked for but she was rude and lied. My daughter told her the length she wanted and then showed her several photos (see below). The length of her hair was half way down her back when she went in. Kessica cut her hair and then asked if the length was right, completely unprofessional. My daughter said that it was too short and then Kessica told her she was wrong and that the back would be longer. Check out the photo, you can see she was covering for her mistake, and there isn't even layering Sadly, my daughter actually tipped her because she is a teen and wasn't sure how to handle it. Don't get your hair cut by this person.
